Lottery scam victim, 78, becomes scammer, swindles friends
I get Nigerian emails pretty regularly. Not just Nigerian, but other African, Asian, and other parts of the world. I just ignore them. This scam has been around according to my research as early as 1920. Back then it was known as the Spanish Prisoner scam. Basically, someone of importance was imprisoned in Spain and money was needed to get him out. Of course, anyone who helped would be rewarded once he was released, but of course rescue after rescue failed and more money was needed. The requests

Woman gets 30 days for stealing lottery tickets
I would love to agree with you, but then it would be tantamount to admitting that women aren't equal to men and do not have the same capacity for greatness or for failure. Didn't know what you meant, but Will like to remind you that women are billionaires, that's more than any black man of any country could ever dream off...Maybe they lack in others but definately make up in others (i am talking of the female gender as a whole)...That's why they need BAD (PLEASE BELIEVE ME IS BAD) for them

Expensive Michigan Lottery tickets sell-out quickly
I do not agree with the sentiment that $50 is too much. In fact, the most popular lottery in the world is more expensive -- El Gordo. $50 tickets are great for these infrequently-held drawings (i.e., special events). In Spain (where El Gordo is held), the expensive tickets are actually broken into 10 parts called Decimas, so that people are able to buy 1-tenth of a ticket (and get 1-tenth of the prize if they win). So people can opt to either go all-in or part-in. What a great concept!

Women lottery hackers:lottery wish.
I thought the president got paid 150,000 to 200,000? That to me for the U.S presidents is not enough. The presidents are the most important citizen in the entire country and that's how much he gets paid...Unacceptable...I'll love to see all presidents and vice-presidents become multi-millionaires.... 200,000 a year is what a heart surgeon makes, and you can't compare a heart surgeon with the president... I feel that Bill Gates is kind of slow... Like 5 years ago, i read that Bill Gates

El Gordo winners
The sweepstakes known as El Gordo the Fat One sprinkled more than $2.4 billion in cheer throughout Spain on Thursday a 200-year-old tradition that shuns jackpots in favor of thousands of shared numbers that spread the wealth. All 1,700 first-prize tickets, each worth $360,000, were sold by one lottery office in Vic, a town of 30,000 about 40 miles north of Barcelona. I won't believe it until I see the money, said Alexandra Montaner, 18, giggling as revelers chugged bottles of sparkling w
