Prob988, the PB jackpot on Saturday 10/15 has rolled over to 340 million for Wednesday 10/19. Do you think that the PB jackpot will roll and shatter the North American jackpot record for Saturday 10/22?

i think it will shatter the record set by mega millions. it will get to over 400 million dollars(dont' hold you're breathe,it's just my predictions.but it would be cool)good luck to everyone on here who plays it.. maybe one of us will win it.

The Official PB site says it has rolled to $340,000,000. I guess SD's site is for PB, as IL's site is for MM. The first place that'll know the jackpot.But back to the jackpot, they got a new record (albeit in a kind of dirty way). Everything they planned is working in their favor.

Wow. Looks like the cap doesn't allow the jackpot to increase by more than $25 million over the previous record for any single drawing. The Powerball.com front page also suggests there were no jackpot winners, else the statement at the top would already include, The jackpot will be reset to $15 million.

Well check out the South Dakota website. They say so. And it would make since.Record jackpot was ~$315 + $25 cap = $340!Brad

Live in Al and went to TN yesterday. Wasn't bad yet as I went at noon. Formed 4 pools of 10 people with $5 each buyin. Think record is $335 M that Jack W in WV one

My cousin is a clerk for a BP station near the AL TN border and the line has over 70 people with most of them buying atleast $5 on Powerball. Some people buying as many as $500 worth. (Over doing it) Strange thing is the drawing isn't until tomorrow and typically she says when jackpots are high more people come in on Saturday. I think this one might break a record. Or atleast I hope it does.
