Missouri couple wins $8.1 million Lotto jackpot
At their age, I would think that $250K a year, after taxes, would make them very happy. AND leave a nice trust fund for any grandchildren. There is a point in life, when you don't need a lump sum; especially when it is usually the elderly that become victums. A wrong decision and they are broke. Annuity eliminates that - or at least reduces it drastically! I'm 64, and with a choice between $3.6M one time, or $250K a year, I'd grab the $250K immediately. $100M, now thats different! $3.6M

Betting strategies.. what is a good bet
The higher to payout, the lower are your chances to win. There are tables on just about every game that tell you what your odds are for a win. You select the risk factor you want to take when you lay your money down. For me, I think you use elements in your system that each show the most probability of success. To do that you must know something quantitative about each element you use. Why??...because error is multiplicative and that will be a big determining factor of how many times you w

Probability of a MegaMillions rollover.
Here are the long term modelling results for probabilities of jackpots of various sizes derived from my curve fitting scheme. As I have discussed, I think, before, modeling gives better results in some areas than it does in others. It deviates widely in the first several drawing and it also deviates when the jackpots approach records. It is now operating in a region where it is very accurate though. This is satisfying to me.(I keep the model updated by inserting new sales figures for each

A Better Method for Pick3
Vtrac does not work for everybody, just like other systems don't work for everybody. I've heard people say it over and over, Vtracs did not work for me. But I congratulate those who have been successful with it.We are all individuals and have the right to find our own niche without someone campaigning one system. Swearing that it is the best and you will lose if you use other systems. So quit shoving it down everybody's throats. What is this a forum or a campaign to convert everybody to Vtra

SoniQ BOOM, a new P3/P4 system (Excel)
finally back online... installed a new LinkSYS cablemodem. (old modem failing intermittently)went from 1.7 megabits/sec up to 6 megabits/sec... blazing speed for under $80 ;-)I really need to figure the count error out. I have an idea, lose the -1 and just look one row above where the formula is, for example, calculating row 2000 make search range from 3 to 1999 (lose the recalc time of the IF)I also would like to get rid of the staleness that kicks in, what if the 0-9 count order (important whe

Platinum Membership
You come across as a frugal, prudent person, hareless. Probably your frugality is the result of necessity. If that's the case, if you're into buying lottery tickets in hopes of making more money than you lose playing the numbers you might want to do some serious thinking about that premise. With, or without a Premium Membership, that's a proposition that comes hard and isn't all that likely. The Predictions page has a section that tells how everyone here who post predictions there has fared, Pl

Occurrence History and Dstributions
Hi, Ocurrence distributions are a reliable and valuable tool for me. The summarries below are from 200 games for Fantasy 5. I'll go over the 1 game stats and leave the rest for you.The top horizontal row represents each lotto ball picked (1-5)The vertical columns represent how many times an occurrence value appeared. Note they have been sorted lowest to highest. So, for 1 GAME you can see:0-occurences happened 200 times or 100% of the time for postion 10-occurences happened 200 times or 100% of
