thanks for that . so there are a few known factors when trying to work out the number of tickets sold. the amount the jackpot increased by, and the percentage of ticket sales that goes to prize money, %40, and the % of that %40 that gets added to the jackpot prize pool. i cant find that last one. is that enough to make a guess at ticket sales numbers?

Did anyone see the news story on Fox of the group of restaurant employees in NJ were in a Lotto Pool and they thought they had won the PB. Only to find out it was last weeks #'s . Some even quit. Well they had to ask for their jobs back.

You probably know more about lotto then any of them. Maybe you should run the pool so it's done right. I don't run ours but i always tell them what needs to be done. One of the meat heads wanted to do $10 a person but i made them stay at $4.

I spent around $20 last time with no winners. I'll spend around $15 this time. Also I still owe for the pool from work, I was off work Friday when they collected and today. Something tells me there may be another collection by Wednesday. I wrote a check to a charity too since I figured if I had money to burn on the lottery I'll put some to good use. Good luck everyone!

I call that the kindergarten punishment one person screws up, everyone gets punished ! It's designed by weak leaders to make everyone hate the person that screwed up, and it is quite effective. My guess is the one that bought the extra tix w/out consulting the pool will soon be looking for another Job. I hope your pool wins big and all of you quit !
