Since I'm a shareholder in both IGT and Konami, I would love it if Progressive slot machines were hooked up nationwide. Think of how high those jackpots would get; enjoy watching the jackpot meter grow as play. ...then my stocks would increase in value too.

The wicked witch of the west is increasing the price of a ticket and increasing the star (ball) pool. However, other news in the Land of Euro is the jackpot is capped for four draws (an increase and seems like quite a few) at about 157m and if not won rolled down to be shared. Also, a lot of people factor in those second tier prizes and this has better odds. High jackpots with numerous rollovers seem to be the norm when changes are made and can't say I like it.

haha i agree its been too long since weve heard from him :p. Played through some $20 and $10 today..prob 8 $20 and 2 $10 waiting on the wife. Won $20. lol thats the habit of the beast though. How come there are so many hispanic winners?Reply
I was curious so I went to the flalottery.com/winners website and out of 48 winners shown with their photos, I counted about 7 who were hispanic, and one of the winners was shown in two separate photos, having won two separate jackpots!

A while ago I had read a story about someone who won two lottery jackpots (Not MM or PB) I think they were both under a million dollars and they stated the odds of that happening was like several billions to one. PCH offers their 5k per week cash for life prize and has yet to pick a winner and the odds are 1.6 billion to one. All you see are the folks who won less than a million during their commercials.

i'm sure anyone who won one of the top 25 jackpots isn't on here observing whether they have slipped down a notch on the list. more interesting would be what percentage of winners took the cash rather than listing the amounts over and over again. we know already what the winning amounts were in the past. thus redundant.

I think it's quite helpful as it showcases annuity and cash values from previous jackpots. Besides, anyone who won a top 25 jackpot is probably too busy enjoying life to care whether or not a top 25 list is annoying.
