Neural Networks- Applicable to Lottery?
no magic at all, I'm leaning towards bias.... look at the 27 as powerball (or lack of it in over 149 drawings)...the number of repeats on separating pb data by wednesdays and saturdays, isolating 10,000,000 drawings from higher jackpots... how the number 20 follows the 35 as pb 5 to 10 drawings later...I have abandoned Quick picks, in favor of one ticket of personal lucky numbers and one ticket based on spreadsheet analysis. $4 per week... IF I manage to get results from this new approach, it

Results Of My Feb. Posting
IN FEb. I posted playable days for February, These are the results of my numbers. Remember I am Human and this info is subject to Human error.I really do work hard at trying to come up with a system, that has days to play and not to play and to be able to return a profit. There were 6 days posted in Feb. as playable days They were;14th 25813, 20th 54691, 22nd, 32864, 23rd 43718 , 28th, 20449,and 29th 10523I based my strait hit results on theory that had you run a wheel from the order that I had p

Neural Networks- Applicable to Lottery?
Quote: Originally posted by Millennium on March 07, 2004 Can this help with wetware neural nets? (IE, your own brain skills)Program link(Remember, I am mainly interested in the Pick 3 games.) I can't see it helping unless you document your reasoning at the time for each number selected, then go back and see what you were thinking when successful. Much of what we do with lottery numbers is usually scrapped when it doesn't work... I think better recordkeeping might help to yield some insights late

Best Pick-5 and 6 Lottery Software
Quote: Originally posted by MikeK on January 10, 2004 My question is: What really is Lottery Softwae ?If you own a software that evaluates your previous drawings and makes you decide what to play by offering all filters etc. then in my opinion it is not really a Lottery Software but a Lottery Tool.I think that the computer porgram should pick the numbers and do the selection for you. The only filter impact (human interface) should be on the number of selections and slight adjustments according

Longest skips and the PA midday...
Here's an interesting bit of information... something finally passed backtesting...payoff to date summary...1. .50ST+.50BX, cost to date = $361, wins to date $660, profit $2992. $1ST+.50BX, cost to date = $541.50, wins to date $1,160, profit $618.503. $1ST+$1BX, cost to date = $722, wins to date $1,320, profit $598Apparently if you have a 1 number system, the best way to play is $1 straight and $.50 boxed...This is an accurate check on playing the MOST OUT number in each position only... keep in

Arkansas poll shows more support for lottery than higher taxes
A poll shows that most Arkansans would not support increased income taxes to pay for education reform, and about half oppose a sales tax increase, but many are willing to take a chance on a lottery. The poll was conducted by Opinion Research Associates Incorporated of Little Rock for the Stephens Media Group. The survey showed that 71% were opposed to paying more in income taxes to support public education. The poll also showed that only 47% support a penny increase in the sales tax with proceeds

In The Spirit of Sharing : Powerball
The above method I have expanded upon to change the statistic in question, usingArithmetic Mean =INT(AVERAGE(C2:C101))Median =INT(MEDIAN(C2:C101))Geometric Mean =INT(GEOMEAN(C2:C101))Harmonic Mean =INT(HARMEAN(C2:C101))Note the use of the INT function, this is to ensure we remain working with only Whole Numbers (Integers)... you won't find 35.6 on any bet slip for the PB! We didn't need it above because MODE only returns values in the list, which are already whole numbers.

What a program needs to be good ...
Having 4-5 people posting their ideas is good, but I don't think this is everybody as you say. About putting all these ideas together, just to let you know this is a 4 year project till now. It's not an easy task to say lets mix them all them together and ship it to the public. It's not a common program or something you have ever seen to the market before. If it was, it would be just an ordinary program meaning I should not get into the trouble of writing it! I understand your taste to see what

Open Discussion: Define/Refine Prediction
the flaw to the MODE approach is that it is not a reactive picking mechanism, it does change, but only when the mode changes, if you reverse solve in 3 separate columns=MODE($A$2:$A9100) 'use the $ for absolute addressing, then when you autofill up, the last number will decrease, giving a MODE list over time. You can see how the mode changes but not very frequently.I have tried also using a variety of stat picks , Average(arithmetic mean) / Median / Average Deviation / Standard Deviation (both
