Lottery fever erupts across Canada
People dump their foreign coins at the Coinstar machine where I work. That's how come I have Toonies without being in Canada in recent years.

Big Contest USA !*Oldest (3 digit) in US
at first I thought the question was what was the oldest(1st) number drawn in a lottery between the US and Canada. I guess that's what I get for thinking, by the way I believe that number was 810 drawn in New Jersey 5/22/75

Big Contest USA !*Oldest (3 digit) in US
OK. Trying to use the ole nugget here. Who can find the oldest straight (3 digit)in the Country? ok...Canada too. What State has the oldest number in the 1000 chart ?Nope. Too serious a question for me without ANY CAFFIENE in the house. Sorry...intermission on this one until I have had my caffiene quota.

Lottery fever erupts across Canada
I first visited Canada (Saskatchewan) as a teenager in 1996, the year the toonie was introduced. Those early model $2 coins broke apart if you threw them hard enough on the ground. I think they've since remedied the problem?

canada 6/49
There was a winner a few years back that was from outside of Canada. He did seek the advice of a lawyer, the outcome I am not sure about that..

canada 6/49
didn't take it that way at all sheba.i like the fact that you get all the money at one time. the evening news on cbc did a story in bc about winners. they showed a local bc winner winning another pot of 2 million dollars. she was real happy. if i win the pot or a piece of the pot. well i will trying real hard to keep the money in canada. i don't want to pay taxes on it down here. have you two heard about any foreigners winning up there. what do they do if you win a big pot and are not a canadian

canada 6/49
Yeah Sheba, pretty sneaky on their part. But it was either that or saying good bye to the 6/49 and hello to the 6/54, but even that would be better than raising the price. I think players in Canada, not to mention the U.S., don't want to spend a Toonie or a Jefferson for a single measly line unless they're getting something really special with it. But look on the bright side, $2 doesn't carry as much weight there as it does here.

$40 Million Lotto 6/49 Canada
Exactly. I have a friend in Canada. However, not a forty million dollar friend! Humm, maybe just an acquaintance.

Canada 6/49 now 40 mil
I would play myself but it costs over $100 just to get to Canada from Seattle plus taking all day. If I lived in Bellingham or Blaine much closer to the boarder I'd make the trip but if I lived there I couldn't get Powerball tickets since Oregon would be to far away. Good luck to those playing.
