Mega Millions and Powerball Race
I can't imagine any way that MM can get ahead of PB other than PB being hit and resetting.
Faster growing jackpots that's what MM told us
I thought it would grow fast enough to erode PB 100M lead

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
Exactly! No one would be upset about winning millions of dollars whether its 1 million or 800 million.
The point I'm making is they more than doubled the price saying it would be bigger faster jackpots and so far that just isn't the case at all.
It's interesting since the odds haven't changed that much but they are selling half as many tickets.

Are you playing Mega Millions with the $5.00 per play?
I think the issue that SoCola is raising is not with the players that win, whether they feel the money is enough or now.
I think the issue is that MM put forth a narrative of bigger jackpots in their advertising during the months before the change in price - well, maybe it's too early.
We will wait and see.

The ratio depends on the return interest rate of government bonds.
Jade is usually good at doing math calculations, but I've got no idea what insights those recent graphs are supposed to be offering. That run in the first graph that looks normal shows a range of a maximum of 7% more than the low annuity value of 211% of the cash. In the second one with the sudden drop has a range with a maximum of only 3.96% over the lowest annuity value of 219.8%.
What both of them show are the perfect

$83.5 million Lotto Texas winner reveals name in court battle: "Tired of being ignored"
The problem as I see it is that the Texas Lottery made their first mistake when they essentially caved to that attention-seeking woman who makes her living by trying to make the lottery look bad. You can't appease a person like that. When she initially started bad-mouthing couriers, the lottery should have ignored her. Instead, they should have explained to the public that no, couriers are not bad, and they have nothing to do with lottery jackpots being purchased . The entire problem with this p

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
For a 100M jackpot California sales are just over 2 million whereas the average of all other states combined are 300k. The only state that comes close to California sales is Florida at 1.5 million. And 14 states contribute less than 100k in sales and half of those are under 50k.
the jackpots would look very different without California and could probably go several months without a winner.
but yeah it's still annoying seeing California after a jackpot.

Mega Millions and Powerball Race
Sorry to be nerve racking . So capping so the powerball can not exceed mega millions in jackpots would be accomplished how, except by limiting (capping) sales of powerball tickets?
Again, they don't care which game is ahead of the other. They care about selling as many tickets as they can for both games.
If this is nerve racking perhaps you should find a calmer hobby.

Judge temporarily halts Texas Lottery ban on courier, hints courier "will likely prevail"
Courier services is a lottery beneath a lottery with a sinister agenda different from the lottery that it is paralyzing - the TLC.
The TLC should consider shutting down all games that can be defeated with the plots of the courier services - big money or rewrite the rules that makes courier services' chase of jackpots no longer attractive.
There is no fairness in the state collecting the people's money and enriching calculating businesses like courier services. I see no irreparable harm t

Michigan man wins $6 million prize after playing the lottery for 40 years
They have a few grand prizes or jackpots and thousands and thousands of losing tickets. The whole book or roll has maybe around 50% to 70% what the cost of the roll is in the first place. Scratchers are for people they are for fun, if you can take the money and run great have a good day, but they are not really for grand prizes. Save a few. Half the time at least here in NY they discontinue the game before all the grand prizes are even 'claimed'. Talk about a racket. Or as some say raqueteros. A

comparison of PB and MM
I'm up to 19 bucks a week. On average I would spend a couple extra bucks if the jackpots where astromical,. That was before the price increase. But no more. And the only reason I'm still playing. Is because I have been playing the same numbers for about 20 years. I have never matched anymore than 2 balls so far. I'm thinking of completely dropping out. Until the jackpot reaches a certain amount. And just my opinion. I don't care anyway you cut it. There both rip offs. If you bought all the games
