Lottery Poll
I'm sure this has probably been asked before but ,if you're like me,an answer to a question like this could be different every day depending on your mood. So what's everyone in the mood for today?

My Income/Asset Range
The question on the poll wasn't very clear. Is your purpose to find out what the current income of board members is? I would really doubt any poll done over the internet about income. It would be more accurate to ask what income people would like to have than what they already have.

i remember coming in one morning after working a very long night shift and doing this poll.couldn't have imagined the wide range of responses i'd get.its like chewie said in another thread that if you let everything get to you that your doomed to lose.i did let the criticism get to me at first but now i see that just as many members appreciate the poll as the ones who don't.i try to create interesting topics and i think this might've been one of those.......

Iowans Want TouchPlay Video Lottery Machines
A new poll shows most Iowans favor keeping the Lottery's TouchPlay machines.A Des Moines Register Iowa poll shows 41 percent of adults want lawmakers to remove the TouchPlay machines, which closely resemble slot machines, from the 2,600 locations around the state that currently have them. But 26 percent favor making more machines available as long as rules against use by minors are followed.Another 27 percent would permit the TouchPlay games already in place, but prohibit installation of more mac

Useless Polls
Why click on the poll at all if you find it to be stupid ?Last time I checked, YOU have to click the mouse yourself. If you don't like it, don't participate in it. Personally, I have followed some of the poll threads and yes, they do get off of the subject but that in itself is kind of neat- we learn a lot or if we choose not to, we can always hit the back button or the delete or esc keys.If polls were such a bad thing Todd would fix it to where we couldn't create them.

As I see this thread resurrected, I notice I used the word disalienate in my previous post which was an oxymoron to the purpose of the post. I meant alienate . to those that agree with me on the poll. THEY are my favorite posters. The poll was kind of like asking which of your children is your favorite. Can that or should that be answered?

WINNING NUMBERS
good poll but, a better poll would be to which states do their picks do the best in? Not what we think but what they think? I love LP but its so handy to post all states instead of just where we need to...
