Lottery analysis software?
Defunct E.O.L. (Entertainment On Line) Lottery Tracker and Wheeler used Cumastat to review about 8 prediction methods to determine the weight of each toward the next draw. Not only didn't it work very well, if you deleted the last draw and tested the strongest recommended methods they failed to predict the winning numbers within a sizeable reduced field. There was another program, also defunct that tested the last draw against thousands of simple predictions methods like one up from the

What do you consider a good test of your system?
Welcome to the board first off. You will find a great deal of excellent people that share all sorts of data and ideas on how to try to tackle the monster we call the lottery. I agree in back testing seems to always force the system into either 1 of 2 groups, It works currently then tapers off or it is forced to work in past results and doesnt show great results gong forward. What most of us I would assume agree on is systems will run hot and cold so having more then 1 and tracking them he

Fla. man wins $35M lottery jackpot with computer software
but I will pass on buying any lottery system. But believers in lottery systems will say his win validates the effectiveness of such things. To that, I say, hogwash! He has been playing since the lottery's inception in 1988. I played Florida Lotto in 1989 thru 1990, and I had a ticket that had all six winning numbers. The only problem was that 3 of them was on one line and the other 3 were on the line below it.....DOH! (Yep I had a Homer Simpson moment). When Paul Hemphill picked the winning

The End Game
Hi, Thanks for the reply. I opened this thread because it is a topic that doesn't appear to have been covered very well since I have been coming to the LP. And yet, it is a reoccurring condition that alot of members here have running into. So, I've submitted a stepwise and measured method on one way to approach the problem. Hopefully, other will offer other methods concerning how the address the problem. Like most here, I have a ways to go with my aprroach, have made several small wi

Of Cat Washing and Backtesting
Anyone trying to beat the Bluejay challenge; all you have to do is find a system that makes a 20,000% profit in 200,000 trials. If you actually believe this statement, then you have a bigger problem than I thought understanding Probability and Statistics and the relationship between the two. It's patently false! I think you'd better take another look at Bluejay's Challenge. By the way, he replies to emails; why not share your thoughts with him? Bluejay's $30,000 Challenge Here's anoth

The Great Lottery Revolt
Individually we know how we failed our school systems. We should all just go into our corners, addressed how you failed our schools and then come together in communities across American and just say and do what is needed under consensus. As far as unions are concerned, I don't think that you can just blame them for failed schools. Blame can be placed on everyone and that is the only way to address the issue. I can cite how good American citizens abandoned their schools nationally for various

Do statistics trump all other forms of math where lotteries are concerned?
Hi RL. Thanks for the reply. As a practical matter I doubt the management could do itself a favor by trying to curtail it. The people who've been attacking you and who post the same messages phrased in different ways have been paying to say it over and over for a long time. They'd probably quit paying for memberships if they were forbidden to say the only thing they ever say. I was searching my mind for other means of approaching the problem that doesn't rely on the hysterical taking a nap. N

False virus alerts for Avast users
This thread really has me wondering about virus protection and MS Essentials. Since the beginning of the Microsoft operating systems, of any sorts, we have always been in need of an antivirus protection. We have also needed other apps to clean and straighten out registry problems, to fix the blue screen of death and the lists go on and on. Microsoft has always been 10 steps behind in being able to prevent anything happening to thier OS. I find it hard to beleive that MS is now a leader
