Winning Scratcher Ticket Scans Incorrectly
I purchased a crossword scratcher that should have paid $50. I just tried to cash it and the scanner behind the counter scanned it as a non-winner. I scanned it on the machine in front of the counter for customers and got the same result. The barcode is completely intact. Anything I can do to claim my winnings?

Stopped for gas before and put a $10 in the machine to see what # the Frenzy was at, it was ticket 9 so I figured I'd try ticket 11 since I won on it earlier and hit $100 on ticket 11, my new lucky #, plus ticket 9 was $15

G5 - there was something else Ron said in his earlier post ... With that said, I don't know if the randomizer is skewed ... or is it showing a strong bias toward higher numbers? I decided to leave and do some food shopping where I ran into a woman I know from the local gas station, she told me the $10 Frenzys hit for $1k both on ticket 55 the other day, with that info I went back to the store and put a $10 bill in the machine to see what number it was at and it was ticket 52 so I bought 4 and hit for $110. So PA guys keep a eye out for ticket 55.

If you are using a machine, you can play 00x as a front pair and then place a $10 wager on that one ticket. If you win, the odds and the payout are the same as if you played 10 $1.00 tickets, one on each of the 00x numbers. If you are playing via a ticket at a store, you pretty much have to go with playing 10 numbers because there's no way to mark a ticket play for more than a dollar.

I did, bought one ticket because my Publix finally has it again behind the counter, not in the machine. Ticket #024 was a dud. I started a new project today for work so I didn't have time to go back, so I'll try again this afternoon. Sometimes I really wish Publix would sell tickets starting at 0! lol

Well you guys won't believe this because I don't! Earlier when I won my $500 I bought a Caesars ticket and left. It ended up winning $30 so I said I will play Cash 3 and 4 with it later. So I finally go back to the store (Publix) and a new clerk is at the desk. She says don't play the $30 ticket out of the machine. Then she shows me someone hit it for $400! I was like well snip ! Strange day. I started with $35 in winners which I cashed locally on the way to work. I get to my regular spot. He has the final 2 of the new $30 and a $20 left. I end it and only get back $30, so I am down $50. i goto the car to get my 3 earlier tickets. Scratch to win $100 total. I grab 2 of the new $20 and a $10 WOZ. The Oz ticket hit $10. You scan your PB/MM ticket and it reads " See the Clerk"..
Do you hand your ticket over to the Clerk and ask So what is the ticket telling you me ? Or do you take a look at the Clerk with a grin say See You later and head out to your mode of transportation - out comes your phone to confirm what the machine is telling you? I always check my numbers online before I claim the ticket. So they can't pull anything. Plus the the machine makes a noise if your ticket wins anything.
