Should The Mega Millions Matrix be Redone?
That's a good question.
When I first posted this, I had raising it in mind.
But perhaps it should be lowered and we can get some of those huge jackpots again.
Up to those statisticians to make the call.
But I do know that ever since they added more balls to the matrix, there haven't been any huge jackpots.
Something ain't right

$348 MILLION: April misses bring May riches
With the recent huge jackpots, this basically says people are unhappy with their jobs and position in life. We're grasping for straws looking for instant change. I still continue to play.

Third suspect surrenders in national lottery rigging scandal
A third man charged in a still-unfolding, multi-million dollar lottery rigging scandal investigation surrendered to authorities in Iowa on Thursday, his attorney said.
Robert Clark Rhodes II was arrested last spring in his home state of Texas by authorities there, after Iowa prosecutors charged him with two counts of fraud for helping a then-top lottery security official allegedly rig multiple jackpot drawings.
Rhodes challenged the arrest in court, claiming investigators did not have suff

Why don't we have a federal national lottery in the US?
Let's imagine that the number of people who could play PB increased by 5%. How much bigger do you suppose the jackpots would get, and how fast would it happen, based on the possible odds?

Alabama senator makes one last push for lottery vote before end of legislative session
I agree with you, however I doubt it'll pass or even be considered is more like it. Now if we had jackpots up towards 1/2 billion it might stimulate interest.

Kentucky Lottery launches online ticket sales
True enough, but remember my post about Federal law prohibiting this from 1961. PERHAPS Alabama will get their own lottery, but now that the hoopla over giant jackpots is over with I won't hold my breath waiting. Same for Mississippi!!

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
I wish they would stop raising the jackpots and give more lower prizes. Heck we know at least one jackpot in each game will likely never be claimed. I wish they would have a $20 with a 2 mil payout with great odds of 400 and 500

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Take this with the necessary salt, but a Lotto official once told me that jackpot tickets are often hiding in rolls that also produce a $500 win. Of course, the ratio of 500s to jackpots still means there can be thousands of rolls that produce $500 without having a jackpot in them, but, still, an interesting observation if true.

Lottery Jackpots And Tax Havens
You may have read about the Panama Papers: It would appear that Leona Helmsley was right, when she said, We don't pay taxes. Only the little people pay taxes.
What are the Panama Papers?
The Panama Papers are an unprecedented leak of 11.5m files from the database of the world s fourth biggest offshore law firm, Mossack Fonseca.
