CT needs Powerball and CA needs Mega Millions. Without CT, PB sales won't fall as much, but enough that they won't pass Mega Millions in terms of getting the highest North American record jackpot.

CA only picked up the slack in terms of sales where other states lost in this matrix. I think CA wins when it hits 100+ million, but most people prefer playing from all across the country when it hits 200+ million. I agree with this because of the matrix. If CA has to shut down Mega Millions due to a lawsuit, sales will drop permanently and it will be slower for MM to get back to their record at 363 million.

Werent they just boasting last year about record sales? That was a quick change now wasnt it. After buying a ridiculous amount of poker scratch offs (5 bucks a piece) and winning nothing, no wonder sales are down. The payouts are herendously rediculous! Just go to the website and compare it to other states.

I hope this record can continue until it hits 363 million or more and then one ticket wins it all. I also hope that CA wins the lawsuit preventing CA from playing Mega Millions anymore, but MM needs CA to boost sales.
