General question on lottery drawing procedures
Hello everyone, I'm new to the lottery game I've just started playing more often, now a hobby, and have even purchased some lottery software to help me along the way. I just have a couple questions that I wanted to ask about drawings in general. I wanted ask if random numbers are actually used. A little background that leads to this question is that I've been making yearly trips to Vegas for the last thirty years as a vacation. Not a big spender, maybe a couple hundred bucks, but enjoy the sl

Input Playing the Various 6-49 Games
PA Cash 5 is easier than larger jackpot games, but still not all that easy to win much at. I too have experienced long runs of losses with that game. The odds of matching just two numbers is 1 in 11. So it's not surprising, though disheartening, to play for an entire week and win little to zilch. Playing Cash 5 for an entire month at $5 per day is worth a try, but plan for the real possibility of only winning back little as $25 of your $150. I still say go for it, since the combined odds of h

So what would the "Holy Grail" of Pick 3 playing be?
Tia - I have noticed that zero -ing anything, can be a very good strategy. I.e., many people essentially measure the gaps between whatever it is they're tracking for plays: between all odd numbers, between short sums, falling digits, etc. So often, playing on the zero gap - meaning, the back-to-back play of X - is a smart strategy indeed! It happens lots. But I will go back to read the posts by Thoth. Garyo - the idea of traps, to me, requires something in which to trap something - and that s

Super Computers + Terminals = Rigged
It's true. The lotteries have a file or two where information about combinations sold exists. This is why they can make an early report regarding whether or not there was a winner. But, anyone who takes the time to actually watch a PB or MB ball machine drawing has got to know there is no way the outcome can be rigged. It's just can't be done. Now there was ONE exception where some wise guys changed the weight of some balls to get a favorable outcome. But, it was discovered

is anyone making an income from lottery
but you won't change the fact that the simulation will lose at 50%. Over time all state lottery pick-3 games that pay 500 to 1 will average around a 50% profit. In the same 10 years the PA Lottery made a 50% profit, they still probably paid out $1.825 billion in prizes. You don't need to run a simulations when you can look at the actual yearly financial reports. You'll be able to pick out one guy who only lost, say 20%, but you'll also be able to find a guy who lost 98%. Over 5000 p

why did more people win in the 1990's than today? Lotto.
This thread was never about the ticket sales or $$$$$$$$. Its about how 75, 89, 100, 103 to 150 human beings in Washington state almost every drawing were able to somehow attain or pick 5 of the 6 winning numbers in 1993 and today only 5 to 10 people can do it on average today. The loss in volume of ticket sales is a contributing factor and more so a factor now because there are three drawings a week. If there were two drawings a week in 2001 or 1993, the average ticket sales per drawing we

Proof that the Lottery is RIGGED
Each white ball number appears in 424,270 of the possible 5,006,386 sets of 5. 424,270 / 5,006,386 = .084745762 so we can expect any number to show around 8.5 times in 100 draws. Some may show more and some less but that does not mean the draw is rigged. If they wanted to rig the draw there would be nothing we could do to find out unless someone on the inside blew the whisle. As far as Spirits go the bible says that there are powers and principalities that rule or gorvern ever

Some new results on some old techniques.
Ok. I will start with this one and work back. On this you have to look at the 0,5 and 10 in the same mindframe. They are connected like the 3,6,9. The masons have built this country on the basis of 3-6-9. They know numbers. I think the 0 is in the 3 and 4 because of this reason. I'm not saying that it's rigged or anything like that, but i think they know it's got something to do with the games and would make it harder to figure anything out with them in there. But anyway, Here is that section of

Illinois Lottery superintendent at odds with private manager of lottery
Illinois Lottery superintendent Michael Jones and the Northstar Lottery Group are at odds. Northstar is the private management consortium named in the fall of 2010 to run the Illinois Lottery. The source of the disagreement is a preliminary draft of a ruling this week from a mediator assigned to determine whether Northstar should have to pay a penalty for failing to meet stipulated profit goals in its private management agreement with the state. By its own accounting Northstar, comprised o
