Just look at Indiana. They boast of record sales, yet pay nothing out on their daily games. Kinda strange huh?

PB=$155 million
Hey, I say that anything can happen. It could reach a record jackpot. I always believe in the odds. The odds that a lot of winners in a short while means fewer wins in the future.

PB=$155 million
Nice rollover. Now if it rolls over again I will get to play it since I'll be in Oregon. For a record pot it would have to roll 4 more times.$155$180$220$290$360+something like that. I would doubt it would get that high. I'm predicting it will get hit at the 200 level.

PB=$155 million
Yeah! Nice $26 million rollover! I'm guessing it would take four or five more rollovers to make another record Powerball jackpot.

PB=$155 million
Hi Vision To the best of my recollection, it ended up about $314.9 Million on the eve of December 25th, 2002...the night I bought my first lottery ticket. I've still got the news release on a CD so I'll check, but I'm quite sure anything above $315M should set a new single recipient record.

The Michigan Weekly-5/14 thru 5/20
Same story for Babe Ruth. He had a lot of hitting records that stood for a long, long time but he also had the record for most strike outs. That tells me that he also would swing at just about anything!

Non-broadcast balls vs. computers
For the record, in MA channel 5 has lottery live, and they get to show the winning numbers first, but they don't actually show the machine. They display the winning numbers one at a time, a la Keno, but these numbers always pop up in numerical order, which is different than Keno.

Powerball Rolls On
$111 million for Saturday. I think this could be a record run. (Ok maybe not but I can't complain about $111 million).

Lottery officials forsee $500 million Mega Millions jackpots
They would have to change the matrix again if Florida joined. Plus Powerball has the incredibly lame rule regarding limits to a record pot. The only lottery that even has a chance at 400+ is Mega. Good thing I live in a Mega state that is also income tax free :)

$10 Million Florida Lottery Jackpot Still Unclaimed
And just for the record, Thonotasassa isn't even really a town. It's just a name for a big swath of rural land in Hillsborough County.
