N.C. Lottery conviction sends message about disclosure
From the article: Lawmakers, government watchdogs and federal prosecutors say it's important that the public has trust in government. We view these as crimes against democracy, said Bob Hall, executive director of Democracy North Carolina, a private organization that monitors ethics in government. If people become convinced that government is rigged, then the whole thing will fall apart. __________________________ How nice. I just don't get this blind loyalty to political pa

Maryland Lottery a case study in the science of random numbers
The Maryland Lottery provides a good example of why true lottery ball machines are much better than a computerized drawing for choosing lottery numbers. This is the super-secret lottery vault. It's 90 minutes before Tuesday's lunchtime picks, and Patrick Morton, the 35-year-old drawing manager for the Maryland State Lottery Agency, is only half joking as he hovers over a small keypad deep inside the studios of WJZ-TV.Beside the keypad is a large metal door - locked, alarmed, monitored by camera.

Landmark bill would ban computerized lottery drawings in Delaware
Hey, Todd. Swiss cheese? I don't see you filling in any of those holes with facts or references or experience from visiting a gaming operation and seeing something amiss. You do miss the point, and I am certain you did not intend to insult by insinuating I am a lotery person out to battle the cynics and naysayers...You see, while all of the cynics and naysayers are worried about whether a draw method is rigged (which isn't happening at the hands of any state or casino in any small conspiracy, at

Some information about Powerball
I have many thing to say about the security of powerball, megamillions, and lotto drawings. This is a fact. My friend used to work at one of the lottery departments where they choose the numbers. Here it goes, I will probably be killed for this. yet o well. I do not care to hear any ridiculious feedback, claiming I am a liar, or anything of the such. I am not beside myself. So having known someone who worked for the Lottery Commision And who assisted regually with the machines that RANDOMLY give th

Are Lotteries Rigged
Of course they would lose more if they got caught. But show me one criminal, just one, who thought to himself while committing his crime, Gee, I'm sure I'll be caught doing this; wonder how long I'll be in jail? I Guess I'll have to wait and see. No one thinks they'll be caught committing a crime. That's why they do it; they believe they're more clever than the general population and, if the general population thinks the way you do, then I would have to say they are probably correct.Your argum

Are Lotteries Rigged
Well, where should I start? I believe that, for the most part, state-run lotteries are honest games but, like any other industry that generates hundreds of millions of dollars, they're subject to an element of deception, fraud and corruption. I live in Indiana (not on purpose; my wife is from here), and I've played almost every online game they offer at one time or another. I bought an expensive Pick-4 system last year and used it religiously every day for several months, without a single hit.

Ohio: 5/1 - 5/31/2025
Hey Jin, (and other interested folks in this topic) I'll take a moment to try to explain how I use the High/Low and Odd/Even to help me in my filtering. First off, I don't use it all the time, just when I need another variable detail about the unique combos to eliminate a large group of possibles. Typically when predicting and playing, I will either wage on all Mediums Sums, or all High or Low Sums---because I know that there are 126 Medium Sums in the 220 unique combos that will be dra

Lotto Texas winner sues betting company and couriers, claims he was cheated out of $100M jackpot
Had a group known as Rook TX not spent almost $26 million to buy nearly every number combination in a Lotto Texas drawing ... The cash value of the prize would have been approximately $8 million less than it was. Had the defendants not engaged in their illegal money laundering and game-rigging scheme ... It would be a shame if he lost what he did win defending and losing a lawsuit for defamation. Remember that big fat slob, Eddie Tipton You mean the guy that worked for the
