POWERBALL CREATES WORLD'S FIRST BILLION-DOLLAR JACKPOT
People will still play otherwise the jackpots would never get up that high. It might just take longer. But most of those types are idiots, I will gladly take $15 million and up even less. I would prefer a lot more to be REALLY secure but I still play when it is low .

Imagine If The Winner of the 1.4B Powerball Never Checked Their Ticket!
But remember this, there's light at the end of the tunnel. This is the first of many billion dollar jackpots. THAT'S THE GREAT THING! So you may not win this one. There will be plenty more! Two months from now, we'll probably be at roughly the same jackpot amount.

You are exactly right Rarsby. The Cash 5 is waaaaayyyy up there as well at 883k, so anything can (and will) happen till all the jackpots bottom out again. You can bet they are raking in MILLIONS a day just off of PB and Cash5.

$1.5 BILLION: Wednesday Powerball record jackpot still rising
Cash value nearly $1 billion By Todd Northrop Is there anything happening this week that isn't Powerball? Apparently not, because it seems that everyone in the US is buying Powerball tickets at a frantic pace, forcing officials at the Multi-State Lottery Association (MUSL) to once again raise the Wednesday Powerball jackpot estimate by another $100 million to $1.5 billion. The cash value of the jackpot is now raised to $930 million. By the time the drawing rolls around Wednesday nigh

Press conference fun
Just say no comment or I plead the 5th lol. Would be hard though as I am entertainer who is used to entertaining people so being boring does not come natural. I seen big winners give great press conferences and never had any issues, even very large jackpots winners. Not this large but still large.

Iowa Lottery CEO Terry Rich answers your questions
Besides huge jackpots the lotto could get new players by increasing the smaller prizes. The pb power play was $12 on Saturday. Increasing that to 25 or 30 dollars would be better. Many times the winning barely cover what was bet. No profit. Can you communicate this to the MUSL?

POWERBALL CREATES WORLD'S FIRST BILLION-DOLLAR JACKPOT
They also changed the matrix solely to produce billion dollar jackpots and expected it to happen by 2022. Looks like it came much earlier!

I think that powerball has crossed the line what do you think?
I don't think it should be capped. Let it roll until is won. Hopefully only one person wins it. No, this jackpot is no different than past jackpots as far as putting winners in danger. Millions are millions. You just have to use your head. What this jackpot will do I'm sure is take food off many people's tables the way they are buying tickets.

I think that powerball has crossed the line what do you think?
As someone stated before of course Im going to buy a ticket with the hopes of winning the billon dollars..I dont personally think anyone will be put in danger as long as your smart about it..if your unlucky enough to be from a state where you cant be anonymous..I forget what they are called but they basically claim the money for the winners..also people have memories like gold fish..just wait two to three months before claiming..also one of the things I love about huge jackpots is it creates alo

You know what this Powerball first billion does? It makes Mega Millions look bad...
They already changed it once and got record jackpots recently. I would prefer they stay the same as I would rather spend $1.00 for better odds, and I buy MM more often than PB because of that. So I don't think PB is making MB look bad at all, if anything PB looks bad and a lot less likely to win. People are only buying into the hype because it finally got so high and broke all records because they made it harder to win. So most would rather play MM when they are lower.
