Lawyer Reccomends NOT To Sign Ticket??
I agree 110%. Signing a ticket with a foolish statement like that or with any type of doodles would likely trigger a full investigation by the state lottery. It seems to signify a lack of honesty and possible criminal intent.
1. Make a million copies of your ticket.
2. Even in a fully anonymous state like Maryland, I would still put a trust name. The worst a state lottery could say is we do not allow trusts. It would not void the ticket and they would then have to allow you to sign your

$70 million Michigan Powerball winner says lottery winners should be able to remain anonymous
I'm not sure I'm understanding why all the harsh arguing is happening, because all the anonymity rules by state are specified right here on Lottery Post: https://www.lotterypost.com/thread/326232
When a state's anonymity laws get updated, we update the list. (As an aside, it's not really a good idea to screenshot a Google results page, because the quotes they offer on their site often leave out other important contextual information from the website they are quoting.)
It's hard to tell

$70 million Michigan Powerball winner says lottery winners should be able to remain anonymous
Same with TN(being put in purple).....I believe we are at the 30 day mark for a Freedom Of Information request that can be filed, should you claim by trust.....Better have your ducks in a row and be disconnected from your current location. Someone is going to want to know.
Players who win prizes of $200,000 or more must claim their prize at the Nashville Headquarters Claim Center.
From the TN Lottery Site:
Can the winner of a large Lottery prize remain anonymous?

$725 MILLION: Powerball jackpot now 11th-largest in history
Thanks Todd for the link........
While we are very fortunate on the lottery-no-income tax thing.... The old adage of The tax man cometh holds true,no matter where you reside in our fair state.
* TN state sales tax is at 7% with local governments adding up to 2.75% onto that figure(THEY DO)
* Tax on food is at 6.75% (Wilson County - just east of Nashville)
NOW....if we could only get our Lottery Director(Becky) and legislature to go full on anonymous, it would be like Christmas

Probability of Winning the Powerball Jackpot
Yea and isn't it great that it is anonymous?
It's like Everyone gets a Trophy just for signing up.
Now it is a popularity contest with a Secrete Ballot.
Maybe I need to rethink this. The problem is not with the Vote it's the Voter Turnout.
More Snakes are Voting than Upright Walking People.

California man claims winning $2.04 billion Powerball lottery ticket was stolen from him
Nothing suspicious about saying Rivera was crazy, , An anonymous employee at Joe's Service Center said that Rivera was crazy for making such an accusation and explained that the Lottery goes through security video footage frame by frame and to the second to verify the winner's identity.
And not the first time someone made a claim like Rivera's. A few years ago a woman in Ohio claimed she lost the winning ticket in convenience store parking lot, filled a police report and a lawsuit to block

WHO LIKE THIS NEW FORMAT?
Yes, the 5-star ratings are gone.
When I originally created the feature many years ago I was hopeful it would help direct people to especially useful threads. Instead what happened was a competition, where some people tried to boss others into adding a 5-star rating, and others used the ratings as a way to hurt people they didn't like by rating everything 1-star.
Although I eliminated the 5-star ratings, the upvote/downvote arrows still exist on each forum post, so if you especially like
