Time Treat make a really good point. Whatever crimes the guy has committed, taking away 50 grand a year in legitimate income isn't going to do much to reduce his interest in committing more crimes. My guess is that after talking with his lawyer he'll remember that the lottery ticket was given to him as a gift. That would mean he didn't violate his probation, and gets to keep the winnings. Yes, but is that just a coincidence? The woman in the news article today who won $9 million when she was just a step away from losing her home prayed for money. Too bad you couldn't make it down here. It's very pretty and we have great beaches. Yes, Spring Hill isn't my favorite spot, but there are much worse areas in Florida.
