Too many players winning Powerball, lottery says
Quote: Originally posted by golotto on March 23, 2005A random game like Powerball, with it's current matrix, might begin a record setting jackpot run at any time. States and casinos that make their money off gambling don't like the word might, they want a steady flow of predictable income and they'll change the rules to make that happens.RJOh

Powerball Matrix Change?
Current rules would prohibit large jackpots anyways since there are limits on them unlike Megamillions. I think they would have to change that rule and the matrix to boost sales. I think that states are finally complaining about the sales droping since record jackpots can really be a windfall for participating states.

Too many players winning Powerball, lottery says
Well changing hot lotto to a 6/49 format would fix that.Powerball has been adding states but doing nothing to address that. They also need to change the current lame rules regarding record jackpots. If they want to keep their current game it would only tick off the current member states as they look at the falling sales. I just wonder if they have had any meetings with the current states about the status of the game and any possible changes.

Powerball changing, will you still play?
As if the game is easy to win now. The jackpots aren't enough considering the current odds. $10 million in a state lottery like Washington would be great. I'd play it in a heart beat but for 120 million to one I expect a bigger prize. I can only hope they fix it soon and toss the stupid rules regarding record jackpots as well.

Powerball changing, will you still play?
The agency running the Powerball lottery may decrease the odds of winning the multimillion-dollar jackpot to stem a record-setting run of winners that is keeping jackpots small and, the agency says, causing ticket sales to plunge. Ok like it was already hard to win on my part so now they are making it even harder?Forget it, Im sticking with hotlotto!

Record lottery winner rushes back to work
Germany's biggest individual lottery winner had no time to celebrate after becoming $27 million richer because he was too worried about being late for work.
When the salesman, who was not identified by WestLotto, arrived on Thursday to buy his weekly lottery ticket at a shop in the industrial Ruhr area he was told last week's 12-euro ticket that he hadn't bothered to check had won the jackpot.
The man's reaction left the lottery operator dumbfounded.
After he was told he had won the ja

Powerball to change in July
Personally, I hope the game remains as is. We had 19 individual draws of $100 Million or more jackpot level in the mid and later portion of year 2003 and that seems like a nice balance. Even with more players in the game, 53 with 42 and a little roll-over luck can still produce record setting jackpots.

KY MID DAY2-digit carryover has been out 16 draws. (the record for KY is 38)Today's draw was 220That mean if we get a 2-dgiti cary tomorrow, it will in all probability be a member of the 20 pair series. So if it falls tomorrow (and that is anyone's guess) it could be a chance for a straight if you want to play with the ten 20 pair combos....(no guarantees here folks)
