I break the Sums down into 3 groups....Singles, Teens Twenties. Then I number those groups 1 through 3 and track those 3 digits. This points me in the direction to go and with most of the combinations in the Teens usually am working with that group.Then I consider how the Sums will add....Odd or Even. I agree that 125 is still too much, however, I usually can whittle those down a lot, lot less as that is but one way to reduce the over all number down. The software I have will give me all the possible 3 digit combinations in a group of 100 after I eliminate all Pures, Doubles and Triples.Then with a process of elimination I can generally take the 100 down to 11 or less before I determine the Alpha Pattern to play with what I get. This system works about 95% of the time. You will have to pay attention to your own state. This system is midday to midday and evening to evening. For your first point, I agree. The probability of three, not to mention five consecutive numbers is highly unlikely to the point I would eliminate those choices from the possible combinations. However, the probability of making all the correct ~28ish guesses in your elimination process is very similar to the lottery's 1 in 292 million, not to mention I don't trust intuition that much.
