Do some number combinations have better odds?
This seems like such a waste but at the same time it's entertaining. When I first choose to take on the lottery one of the first things that I found was the more math I used in my selections the worse I fared. Random is in my opinion the opposite of math. While math has it's place it is not going to help predict random. Probability defines the probable, nothing more nothing less. Playing Quick Picks is using one random event to try and match another random event. If a player

Post your scratch ticket results
Skeptic, Was it Billion Dollar Blockbuster? Isn't the top payout for the Monopoly a $3Million dollar prize? Interestingly enough, I can remember TWO times that I bought a scratch off when I was in a rush, folded it in half which I usually don't do----had it in my pocket for a few hours for a work meeting,etc... and then scratched it off for a $500 win!!! Happened on 4/4/11, I remember that because I was on my way to a Dr. Martin Luther King Jr event, and then happened about 2 mon

Number One Number:
How do find the statistics for all the states combined to get the number one each day. That all depends. If you're looking for a magical formula that works everytime, don't waste your time. I only do it cause I get bored. Even though I know once i find something good it gets cold, ha ha, then finding patterns that are very rare become an exciting event. I'm still waiting for that event. Good luck !

Do some number combinations have better odds?
None more predictable. Groups of lines simply change variance. There is no predicting a random event. If you could predict a random event more than the odds dictate, then it's not random. Hell if you could predict it less than the odds dictate, it's not random.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
If you want to lower yourself to personal attacks, then by all means go right ahead and be my guest. All I'm saying is that the draw event is not COMPLETLY random. You maybe correct for the most part and the event could be 99.99999% random, but I DONT KNOW and you don't know either. If everything everyone every THOUGHT THEY KNEW TO BE FACT was true we would still be walking on a flat earth and traveling by foot. Not to mention the fact that you would be sending me a letter instead of talki

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Im not the one who is confused KY, You are not alone in using the excuse of realism as a cover for your stubborn and close minded attitude. Unless you are talking about a coin toss, there is almost never ONLY two possibilities. If you would stop and consider what I ACUALLY SAID you would realize that the event is not completely random..... BECAUSE THE BALL ARE NUMBERED the event is not COMPLETELY random

Two workers in lottery pool sue over $118 million ticket
It depends on how their pool is set up. If it's simply a set buy-in pool and everyone gets an equal share in the event of a jackpot win regardless of the amount they put in($1 vs $2), then these two should be entitled to equal share of the overall jackpot. I've done a pool before and that's how we set it up. Each buy-in gave the person an equal share in the event of a jackpot win. I've sinced stopped doing pools, but I sure as hell wouldn't join a pool if those weren't the rules. In other words,

what is your thoughts on randomness is there structure even in chaos?
my thoughts on randomness,,,say you were throwing dice,,if you knew everything about the dice,,pull of gravity,,the weight how to throw them and so on and could manipulate them every time,,,,random is no longer random...because you know the rules of that random event. so in one sense of the word,,,there is no random event just properties were not aware of..

RENTAP's predictions
We can not guarantee (for now) you'll win the lottery. Our model is a stochastic model. As you well know (because you show yourself so confident about the impossibility of predicting random phenomena) stochastic is different from deterministic. A deterministic model says that if an event has 0% or 100% chance of happening. A stochastic model states if an event is, for example, 20% or 50% or 77% likely to occur. There were not the Portuguese who created the stochastic. I don`t know if you a

Are pre-draws corrupting your lottery strategy ?
There's no statistically significant reason to believe that pre draws result in skewed statistics - that is results that don't follow a normal distribution. Unless the intent of the lottery is malicous, such as them wanting to do pre draws and pick the combo with the least winners to be televised. Otherwise the pretests would actually work to preserve a normal distribution by determining that their are no malufunctions or biases before doing the real draw. That real draw is a seperate event - an
