have you ever been the victim of a lottery scam?
The TN issue was from bad programming, not intentional scamming. I considered the last option, lotteries being scams, in my former response. I wont say its impossible, but lotteries make a great deal of money so there isnt a logical reason to endanger the gold egg laying goose by scamming. Can one say lotteries are scams due to odds of the games? I suppose, but then again, odds arent kept secret. Play at your own risk. Same for casinos. They dont build those big casinos by losing money. It

Another three bagger last night as I continue to break down that 1 in 103 odds of collecting three numbers ,what helped again? of course The Old 17-19 combo anytime I have a hint of it popping I gotta put those two numbers together. So here's why I say I steadily beat those 1/103 odds. I play 5 games morning and 5 games night that's 70 games a week . in theory, I should barely hit a three bagger once a week but I average 2 to 3 times a week I collect the money and this is been going on f

New Michigan Option
Sigh! Oh well. They jacked the odds up again. Now 600,000 to 1. I will wait for the Lucky 7's Millionare version where they get rid of the $700 to $10,000 prize levels and make all the other lower prizes easier to win. Also with the higher odds I will wait to play longer...maybe over the 1.2(2.2) million dollar level. Sigh...

New Jersey Lottery increasing Jersey Cash 5 ticket price
So in its quest for greater profits, as if having a record breaking 2023 wasn't enough, the New Jersey Lottery continues its trend of raising ticket prices while adding gimmicks and reducing prizes. In this case, what the Jersey Lottery did not include in their announcement is that they have discontinued the $2 win for matching two numbers, they have effectively reduced the Second Tier prize of Matching 4-out-of-5 numbers to $250, a fixed amount versus the $500 to $800 that it used to regularly

UPDATE: Proposed changes to Mega Millions game will raise ticket price to $5
Cant say I wont play but will say I wont play until the jackpot is over $2 Billion. Nobody is going to win and the odds are still terrible. For $5 the odds should have been around 180,000,000 to 1. I have suggested in the past that they offer players choices on the payout. Take some in cash and some in an annuity or all in cash or all in an annuity. With the player deciding on flat vs increasing annuity and from 11,16,21,26 or 31 year payouts. The current annuity structure is discrimina

Probability of winning with multiple tickets
The easy way to understand the difference is from the end of Tucker's last post... 4/500,000... this is where probability stops... one ticket gives you 4 favorable outcomes to the 500,000 possible outcomes. This is the reality of any game. Only here we have 4 top prizes instead of one. 1/125,000... this is where the Odds are... which is favorable outcomes to unfavorable outcomes. He is correct in performing the division here because for every favorable outcome there are 125,000 unfavorab
