Need help To Make a Search Tool?
Lotto Pro have a data file for all the U.S. lotteries and a search feature. You can scroll down the data list to check by dates or you can enter the numbers and it will list all the dates that have those numbers. I would imagine every lottery program has a similar feature.RJOh

u -, I just use the alt key if I know the ASCII code of the character, same as I do when using GWBasic, but I always wonder what would happen if the character is a control character. In the old DOS, some funny things would happen.RJOh

sorry RJOh, but i can't comprehend whatever you 're saying. Nothing in reality changes the fact that winning a lottery jackpot is more likely for one person over another, except for the person that buys a ticket versus one that doesn't, not buying many tickets, not using math, nothing.

$300.00 worth of QP's
If I was going to buy $300.00 worth of tickets, I would pick my own numbers and make sure I didn't repeat any combination of 5 that had won or try to avoid repeating any combinations of fours within the group. That's just me, I read of several people who won the jackpot by just buying $5-$100 worth of tickets at one terminal. RJOh

Welcome to the Mathematics Forum!
I hear you, RJOh. It is hard to explain this stuff in a few sentences. Sometimes I get screwy with it myself. Good luck to you. OpenMinded

Powerball: $205 Million!
Old Jack W. is probably still buying a $100 worth of QP's when ever the jackpot is over $200M, keep things simple that way and don't have to worry about the change.RJOh

wiseone2,Are you self taught? Where did you get all these mathematical rules? Each possible combination has a chance to win, if you buy ten of them then you have 10 chances to win, that is ten times the chances of winning with one combination.RJOh
