Illinois lottery winners file class-action lawsuit against state
I'm sure Illinois is honoring its commitment to transfer 30% of its sales to MUSL for the MM and PB jackpots or they wouldn't be selling PB and MM tickets. Government can't and won't be any more responsible than the people elected to run it. Irresponsible politicians should be booted out of government.

Helping Former Lottery Winners
They're winners! All they need to do is go buy more tickets and win more jackpots! Duh!

Virginia Lottery's new in-state game awards $1 million, taxes paid
25% federal withholding is so much taxes that it doesn't make sense to tax jackpots at state level. If California gets that why won't Massachusetts?

Gail Howard's lottery winners
Many of Gail Howard's jackpot winners were before 1995 and their jackpots averaged under $1 million. Some of the prizes were under $100,000 and a few under $50,000.

Could you do it?
Easy, yes. I am a simple person and just looking to get enough to be unshackled from any employer and take care of myself. My needs are modest so MOST jackpots would be enough - 500k or more(after the taxman come-ith ).

California has won last night's Powerball
California is probably glad both PB and MM have been won and reset 'cause now their Super Lotto jackpot is bigger than both of them with better odds which should attract more players. Ohio Classic Lotto is only at $8M and with its odds of 1:14M I'm leaning toward playing it for a while until MM and PB jackpots build up again.

Any Past Lotto Pool Winners...
Before I retired I was in a pool of 10 co-workers which was the largest on going pool in the shop. Some larger pools were created when there were large jackpots but that was only for a drawing or two until it was won. We matched 5of6 three times in the local 6/49 game for $1500 each time. That was as close as we ever got to winning a jackpot.

Would you continue to play Mega Million or Powerball...
RJOh, you are probably correct in that statement. RNG (Really Not Good)is not what I would call independent of human involvement. My wondering behind this is how long it would take before the jackpots got to a point that folks would say, Ok now I will play ......... Let the ping pong balls bounce !!!!

Georgia Lottery Scratch Offs
I played 1 one of those $20 3 Million Jackpots and lost. I'll try another one sometime soon. I'm just not feeling the lottery that much anymore, so I barely play.
