Georgia Lottery Scratch Offs
i've been winning good money on those jackpot tickets the past couple days ! got the Georgia symbol twice on tickets 4 and 14 and won $100 on the last 4 tickets of the $5 jackpots. Not sure if those tickets are hot but it sure seems like it! But I did have to play about $120 dollars worth of that one roll I hit the Georgia symbol on the last ticket to get that last Georgia symbol. Good luck !

Would you stop playing the lottery if you were restricted to Quick Picks?
Sales were almost $4 million more on a $106 million jackpot than the previous $96 million, but the next two jackpots were only slightly higher. Maybe players are only occasionally playing MM and/or PB and spending their lottery dollars on the smaller jackpot state games.

Trial underway in world's biggest lottery fraud case
Wow! Good question! The odds of winning -specially for bigger jackpots-are just so astronomical to begin with. I got to think at some level most of us already know we are probably not going to win. Yet we still play! Its the fun of the chance even with the better snowball chance in H-E-double L de facto.

Mega Millions Sales Down Since New Format
Good! That's how greed should be rewarded. Those years when MM jackpots used to be a two horse race between Californians and New Yorkers and occasionally Ohioans and New Jerseyites? popping in, those were the days. They ruined a good thing.

Australian lottery winner accused of hiding win reaches deal with pool members
I ran a lottery pool at work when the jackpots were high. If I played separate, I bought my tickets days before money was collected and I made copies of all the groups tickets and passed them out. If we won anything, we would agree to put back in the pool. We also kept a log of who paid and who didn't each draw

Powerball Odds This October
What about Mega Millions? Odds of winning $1 million there are 1 in 18,492,204 which would make a $2 bet roughly odds of 1 in 9,246,102 better than the new PB. Not to mention the top prize odds are better. Powerball being $2 will probably have higher record jackpots though, we'll see.

Powerball changing in October to generate bigger jackpots
They do this I will just stop playing unless the jackpots are just huge. MegaMillions told this same lie. On the old MegaMillions I frequently used to win something, even if it was a small amount, when they changed it, I have found that I barely ever win anything anymore. Realistically you are probably better off spending that same $2 on a scratch off ticket then the Powerball, even if the jackpot is much smaller.
