Remaining anonymous
In Jersey you'll see that many people hold the big check up to cover their face, that's what I plan to do. Also sometimes you see only the first name and last initial on the big check. Not sure how that works. Delaware is anonymous for sure, they brag about it on their website. Delaware has a state tax from 2.2% to 6.6% and lottery is taxed as regular income.

$83M Mega Millions jackpot claimed in Georgia
its actually feasible for the Mega Million to change rules Of course it is. They came up with an initial set of rules and they've been changed several times, but those rules are mostly about the nature of the game itself and leave other things to the individual states. There's little reason that any state should care about how another state administers things, but they certainly wouldn't want other states to control how they do things. I think that makes the chances of a rule change about a

British Columbia Lottery taking bets on US election
Actually I was asking you to elaborate more on what you called American ideals . In other words something you believe all of us could lose. it would be unwise of me to speculate here on what I believe will be the next course of events that will follow the tweeking of the bill of rights, The Constitution was modified 17 times, but the Bill of Rights had no changes. I have enjoyed reading this forum. it has certainly made me see what you all think is important. there were a few cheap

Pair Sums
Year after year, I think others here ask themselves the same question: Why should I put this up when someone is going to take it and post elsewhere. Eventually some unsuspecting person is going to find it and regurgitate it right back here? And in that respect, I agree with them. Providing web content was not the intent of their post. And yeah, they do have a right to feel like their confidence and trust was violated. That happened to me. Content of my posts, by using links to posts on LP wer

Australian family win $4m beach house lottery after spending $200 on tickets
James Burry, 40, was announced the winner of the biggest beach house lottery ever held in Sydney. I was under the impression that Australian lotteries had allowed for anonymous claiming after the Thorne kidnapping and murder 50+ yrs. ago. Was announced makes me think that their identity WAS revealed by the lottery, but maybe he just announced it on his own. I thought someone was taking the piss.... Made me smile but puzzled me the first time I heard a family friend say that yea

When you win the lottery, are you prepared to erase..
The question wasn't being posed because noise-gate was ignorant of the gift tax exclusions. He's been in many of the discussions about gift taxes and he's well aware. The question was posed because it's an interesting topic. The responses to this topic of sharing the wealth is always interesting. As I see it, there are 5 main discussion topics routinely brought up in this Forum: How to win (formulas, strategies, number tracking, etc) How to remain as anonymous as possible How to keep as

British Columbia Lottery taking bets on US election
From Barrier Breakers 2016, because of the fear of online harassment. Many of Hillary Clinton s female supporters in particular have been subject to intense cyber-bullying and sexist attacks from swarms of anonymous attackers. There is a huge difference between a supporter and a surrogate and I doubt Rudy Giuliani and Kellyanne Conway are taking time off their regiment of daily news talk shows to post on anonymously on social media. From my point of view in this environment, it's the Tru

Why it is important to remain anonymous...
Im 2006 an Illinois female pharmacist won a Mega Millions jackpot and appeared at the press conference in disguise. She told the lottery commission that since she was a pharmacist publicity about her winning a jackpot - if she was recognized- would just trigger a slew of frivolous malpractice suits. https://www.lotterypost.com/news/172231 ____________________________________ James78, Do a search here on LP for Abraham Shakespeare and then see how you feel about it being unimportant
