Powerball changing in October to generate bigger jackpots
Well, this is bad news, the state's are running up too big of unmerited contract bills/wages/salaries/construction projects and materials! Why shouldn't these state's be forced by their Governor to cease this irresponsible/hurtful behavior; instead of making each state's on-line gamblers pay for their chronic out of control spending?
This year's Powerball balls re-arrangement also isn't being celebrated by me. After all, Powerball only had 11 jackpots won last year! This year will probabl

Powerball changing in October to generate bigger jackpots
Right now, hubby and I don't buy Powerball until the jackpot gets over $100million. Maybe this change will get us to buy at lower jackpots......

Powerball changing in October to generate bigger jackpots
I didn't play much as it is and this doesn't really make me want to play more. I hope people get those big jackpots that they want though.

Looks like that lottery win will never happen
The key is to remember the EXTREME high odds.......always remember that but without a ticket you aint gonna win. Not everyone will win jackpots -FACT and the ones who win are extremely lucky. 99% of people will never win a jackpot and 1 % of people will win a jackpot. Are you part of that 1 % ?

CA SLP: A long rollover
And it rolls over again! I think there have been only 9 jackpots in the past year. That seems very low.

How did you fair after last nights Powerball results ?
I got nada. I've been playing PB more than I normally would b/c of that great run of PB jackpots in Mar/April. I'm not proud. I would gladly take the low prize of $40 million, a burden, yes, but I would do my duty and accept it.

Camelot to change UK Lottery from 6/49 draw to 6/59 draw!
Large well advertised Superdraws seem to be the only way that will be able to take the Jackpots over the 100 million mark again it now seems. That's my observation from a regular players perspective. That's what it feels like anyway.

CA Lottery - California Love - CA Lottery Scratchers
I gave up on scratchers. And with all the changes in the second chance rules, especially the phasing out of the end of game jackpots, why bother?

What game do you play waiting for MM and PB to build up?
or do you just wait for the jackpots to build?

Something strange with Megabucks Doubler Game
I would think that with these 2 or 3 million dollar jackpots that taking the annuity would make much more sense from a taxing perspective. With a lump sum payout of 1.5- 2 million you would be taxed at the highest rate and also get hit with the Obamacare tax. Breaking it up over 20 years with annual payouts of $125,000 or so would be a much more tax friendly way to take the JP. I would think anyways.
