Man Dies In Crash Weeks After Winning Lottery
I'm also an Ohioan that buy PowerBall tickets in Indiana when the jackpot is over $100M. If nobody wins the jackpot this Wednesday, I plan on cashing my December tickets and buy some more tickets for Saturday's $100M+ drawing.RJOh

Poll - Do you play lotto on Sunday?
BobP, I probably wouldn't play because I seldom play the pick3 or pick4 games and I live in the center of the State so I live at lease 100 miles from any state line. I use to drive to Michigan to get BigGame tickets when it was $80M+ before MegaMillions came to Ohio and I may drive to Indiana to get some PowerBall tickets this Saturday or maybe Sunday if it over $100M. (I would buy tickets on Sunday, even though the drawing is Wednesday) RJOh

test results not worth looking at
Waynr, if your picks weren't random, what restrictions did you have on them? Were there any limits such as the number of repeats of combinations of 3's and 4's, sums, number positions, gaps and etc?RJOh

How does one use statistics to help win?
I have toyed with the idea of 42 lines, restricting the first 20-25 lines to a select group of numbers and opening the rest up to all the numbers and playing all 42 powerball. I've posted those results in the jackpot section with JADELottery's PowerBall picks for the last two draws. If there are no winners this Wednesday, I may try the idea out for real Saturday.RJOh

RJOh, I generated the 1000 with a program I wrote in 1998. It's definintely not random. This is the first I've done with it in six years. I think I can get over 50% winback. No there is no wheel type guarantee because this isn't what one would normally call a wheel.

What strategy were you using to pick your 1000 lines? If it was QPs your results shouldn't be a surprise because many communities sell more than 1000 tickets every day and no one in any of those communities win a jackpot. A 1000 lines strategy should have some guarantee of a win if the 5 numbers are in a selected group of numbers. Playing 1000 lines randomly will only return what you can expect using the odds posted by the lottery.RJOh

Posting the winning nummbers!
Quote: Originally posted by MrSteel01 on April 17, 2004 Personally I wish everyone could win!! EVERYDAY! If everyone won after the State took their 50% and the retailers got their 5%, each winner (players) would get 45 back for every dollar they spent and that would be the end of lotteries. RJOh

new pc for lottosync, which is best?
If lottosynch is not predicting the winning numbers, why be in a hurry? Any other lottery program could give you an equally bad prediction in a potion of the time.RJOh
