5 Digit/Buckeye 5
RJOh -Is it possible that the number of combinations excluding 01 through 10 and 28 through 37 should read 6188 rather than 4368? Basically, what that does is create a 5/17 lottery draw, of which there are 6188 possibilities. It doesn't significantly alter the substance of youir post, though.....gljohn

How does one use statistics to help win?
Perhaps, you are going to have to choose parameters that limit your numbers and combinations and accept the fact that within those parameters your chances of hitting the big one will only exist 20% or less of the time, but when a chance exits, you will have covered most of the possibilities.RJOh

Only 4,368 combinations(11-25) or 1% of those combinations would not have either of those conditions.RJOhDon't you mean 19 % Roy?

something wrong with lottosync v1.6 ?
Paul,A full wheel would be 210 lines, so you are saying he was hoping to reduce the odds to 1:4200 with 20 tries which is still expecting a lot. I think it was have been more realistic to expect to reduce the odds such that smaller prizes would be won more often if not a jackpot prize.RJOh
