I would just say congrats. I'd keep my little twinge of jealousy to myself. I bet you'd get at least a few regular posters begging for a grant or a loan. I predict membership would swell at LP and your PM box would be full for a few weeks with tons of mail from recent joinees who have no posts. Regulars and newbies alike would make mostly nice requests until they figured out you weren't giving them any money, then a few would turn to anger and insults. You'd also get people who don't beli

I may take heat for this post but (in a small way) you have to admire what Tipton did. He scammed the scammer's. Do away with pre-tests and I may change my opinion. Pre-tests serve only one purpose...To hide trends from people who follow them.

Does it say if the tickets were quick picks/self-picks? If either or both tickets was a quick pick then it's probably a coincidence, if they were both self picks then Tipton bells should activate and an investigation launched.

Eddie Tipton got away with this for six years with the help of friends and relatives and smaller winning amounts. Being in security, he should have known a jackpot of $15M would be investigated more closely. He got greedy and went for the big one which he planned to keep it all for just himself.

I wonder if she really thought it was an engagement gift when a friend who works for the lottery gives her a winning lottery ticket to cash that he can't because of his job and offer to split the after tax amount equally. I wonder how many such gifts Tipton offered other friends.
