The End Game
Hi,
I look at it from this point...Winning the first or second prize in one of the big jackpot games is a life changing event. Winning at pick 3/4, even though nice, is not a life changing event. As far as the complexities and odds of harder games, it makes me want to do them that much more. *S*
This is one of those topics at the LP where the members fall into different camps. The nice thing here is that there is room for everybody, reguardless preference.

The digit 5 appeared only one time in the second position yesterday on May 21, 2011,
Sat, May 21, 2011 Missouri Pick 3 Evening 8-5-1
I believe the digit 5 may appear in the second position today. It is a great time for a $traight hit.
The digit 5 could appear in any state as a single, double, triple, midday or evening.

Let this be a lesson for you!
yeah the universe is made up of atoms that zig and zag, in reality nothing is solid , its all a state of flux, ive noticed that when i win, or lose, at something the time i make the descision is a surreal state, when all possibilities are open. you just dont recognise them until after the event.
how to recognise these instances ?
you just did, i have only seen em after the event, sometimes ive zigged and sang for joy, others ive zagged and sighed that lady luck plays me for giggles.

Mega Millions lottery winner recounts epic win
Unless a ticket can win 2 prizes you can't have odds of 2 in 175,711,536 and also 2 in 15,313.
Among the many possibilities for tickets 1 and 2 are ticket 1 winning the jackpot and ticket 2 winning 4+0. The odds of that is 1 in 175,711,536 * 1 in 15,313, which is the 1 in 2.7 trillion previously noted. Of course there's also the chance of ticket 1 winning 4+0 and ticket 2 winning the jackpot, which is also 1 in 2.7 trillion. The correct odds of one or the other happening is 2 in 2.7 trillion,

Indiana man says store cost him $11.5M lottery jackpot
You're right. Both are strong arguments for the defense and this is what I was getting at in the other thread that I started.
Basically what I'm saying is, one cannot claim that the results would have been the same had they played. The tag line for the movie Butterfly Effect is Change One Thing, Change Everything , which is true. When you change everything up to some said event, the result of that event can, and more than likely will change. Lets say you had some numbers written down and you

If you Ever Come out with a system that Cracks Powerball with 1 Ticket: Rules of Engagement..
Last time i checked: you never reduce the odds, they stay the same on every each draw for any lottery game. Its a classic and common mistake to believe that you know some event will occur or not occur based on past results. Why would that be? Every ball is just as likely to show up each time. It is very apparent that most people on this site dont have much knowledge about mathematics or probability or statistics. They are simply desperate to win some jackpot. Numbers don't mean much, they just a

Do you guys think the mega millions and maybe powerball is rigged?
Is the MM or PB lottery rigged? Very good question, and my answer is I don't know. And the fact that the drawings aren't done live on tv does raise some quesitions. But I do have something to say about the Powerball Drawings, which I have been thinking about posting. And I was going to ask the question, Has anybody noticed anything strange about the Powerball Drawings? Now, the reason why I ask this question is because I've been tracking the PB drawings for the past 184 draws, or the past 92 wee

Any Numbers? Once Upon a Blue Moon 12-31-2009
Magical things happen once upon a blue Moon. And this Thursday we get a chance to find out just what those magical things as we watch the rare lunar event coincide with all the beautiful fireworks of New Year's Eve.
Blue Moon is the term applied to the second full Moon in a calendar month. It's an event that occurs roughly every two and a half years. This Thursday's blue Moon is far rarer than that though, because it's happening right on New Year's Eve a coincidence that happens only about on
