You Right Clarisse. It's all about numbers- in the case of the lottery, the RIGHT numbers. A few month's ago the Wife l were watching The Imitation Game ..it boils down to being a numbers movie. Actually, Indiana actually did that for their Daily 3 and Daily 4 games back in 2013. (Three cheers to Indiana!) They switched from computerized drawings back to real ball drawings, hired a television personality, etc. Very good move! Computerized drawings is one area where advanced technology is NOT a good thing. This is being spoken by a technologist (me).

Clerks on any individual lottery terminal cannot scan more than one non winning ticket in any 24 hour period or the machine will go into a protective mode requiring them to scratch off the void covering to cash any ticket. If you stick with Windows XP and IE8 you will see those error messages more and more. Microsoft could not have made things more clear that they do not support Windows XP any more, and that you should not be using it. The technology behind secure websites continues to change, but Windows XP and IE8 are not being changed with the new features. If you insist on keeping it, you will have to cope with annoying error messages and glitches.

I think I have looked them up before when I was doing patent research. Dont they create most of the gaming technology like the balls used in the lottery and electronic casino games etc? Didnt really care to investigate because there isnt any competition in the space im trying to get ahold of. (well a few fake websites)
