Some clerks do not give that receipt, some keep winning ticket, some offer your your winning ticket back, some hand you your receipt almost forcefully. It's a mess. I remember when I was younger and naive, I actually asked clerk girl to check several of my tickets. She was checking and then something biped in a machine. I thought for a moment it means I won something, but she said there was no wins and threw the tickets in a trash. I am still wondering.

Arizona is considered the West! CA doesn't have PB but has won MM quite often. Since the numbers are drawn at random, states will win at random. There is not a conspiracy to let certain states, cities, ethnic groups, male/female, rich, poor etc win. All who buy a ticket have an equal chance (1 in 175,000,000) to win. The machine that does the drawing does not know who or where the winning ticket is from or if there is even a winning ticket.

Maybe they have been using those automatic ticket checkers the states are so proud of.Maybe they checked their tickets and the machine said sorry,not a winner and they tossed the ticket.

In reference to Cash 5, it clearly states on the ticket you can win ten dollars on just two numbers until the end of August. I have two tickets rejected that this is not a winning ticket. It states every one in ten tickets are winners. Tried to cash them in, the machine rejected them as winning tickets Tried to email the lottery no response!

This is an open ended question. HOpe you are ready for some of the wildest conspiracy theories! This is just an idea. It is due to the random picking of the numbers. There are many factors that have to fall in line for that ticket to win. First someone either has to choose the numbers themselves or allows that state's computer random generation program to select the numbers for that ticket. Second the machine that produces the numbers for the drawing, has to produce the exact balls for that

I think that the facts got twisted a bit in this story. I would be willing to bet she scanned the ticket herself on the scanner for keno/megamillions etc..I've seen people do it before. These scanners dont work for scratchies. I've never seen a scanner anywhere that a customer can use to check scratchies. She would have to have given the ticket to the clerk to really find out if it was a winner by scanning it on the lotto machine thats behind the counter.

Fantastic, NOT. So I was at the lottery machine on Wednesday, and selected a Powerball QP. The numbers looked too bunched together to me so I selected a new ticket. That bunched together ticket looked awfully similar to last night's drawing. May never know how close I got. Oh well, there's always next time!!!!!!!

Pick 3
I went to Rite Aid last night to play my Pick Three. The ticket did not come out. I told the lady and I heard her tell the other lady that worked there that she did not believe me. Then the other lady opened up the machine and there was my ticket all curled up. Neither of them apologized to me. How rude!!

I got 1 ticket 1+1. Funny thing when I printed that ticket at the lottery vending machine is the maching blinked off, then on after I pushed the button and before the ticket came out. Wish it would have blinked 4 more times....
