Florida store employee arrested for 'micro-scratching' lottery tickets
One of the reasons I buy from vending machines Cant trust clerks. At both places I buy my tickets I have seen tickets loaded into machine and they have never been out of order so there is clearly no fraud

Florida Scratch Offs - Post Pictures if posible
Just cashed in Grandma 40 dollar winner and took it to the Publix on 35th st that sold the 2 million winner. According to the guy at Customer Service, the ticket was bought at the counter, not the vending machine. Because I didn't want to confuse him with numbers I just bought from the roll he had. This is ticket number 3 on roll 95441, but not sure if this is the same roll from the winner bought last week, but if it is its a sign that this is the 2nd jackpot and the other one will be in a lower

Post your scratch ticket results
Do you guys prefer vending machines or the other way. I like the machines but there seems to be a trend around here where people sit on the machines..in other words they get a ticket scan it and if it is a looser they put more in until they get a winner and then move on to the next ticket in the machine and keep playing that until they get a winner or two. Probably why i cant get much out of them these days. I stopped buying from other stores due to the reports of pinning. So thought i could avo

What airport terminals sell lottery tickets?
I purchased online lottery tickets (Powerball, MegaMillions, and a state game) from a vending machine while in a Georgia airport terminal (SAV). I was also in Ohio (DAY), and North Carolina (CLT) terminals but didn't notice anywhere tickets could be purchased. I was just wondering how many states have lottery sales at airport terminals. It seems like a win win for the lottery. Since many purchasers might be out of state, it seems logical they would not claim the bulk of winning tickets, i.e. sma

A crazy lottery story
I can see no logical reason hoping a vending machine will accept the cash we try to put into them especially when I can ask the clerk for QPs and simply hand them the money. Maybe I'm just cynical because I always wonder why people talk about problems that are easily solved.

Another retailer charged in Connecticut Lottery scheme
No kidding. A lot of people here said these people are Stupid , but actually they are pretty smart. All those involved in the scam are Indians, and they dominate the IT field in the States and many other industrialized countries. Any machine can be hacked, and lotto machines are no exception. I would think lotto vending machines are more vulnerable to hacking than regular terminals.

No more scratchers for me. No more.
Did you play Sum It Up on the pick 3? Scratchers make me mad, I never win anything but what I paid and not even that very often. But sometimes I have money in the vending machine and I bought everything I need and have a little credit left. And sometimes I'm in the mood to get mad so I buy a $1 or $2 scratcher.

Where do you do your ticket shopping?
I usually go someplace on my walking route. I prefer using a vending machine, but I buy from a clerk occasionally. When it's time to buy advance plays on my regular numbers, the amount I spend is worth it to find a credit card that's paying 5% cash back on grocery stores or gas stations, then I go to one of those stores that accepts credit cards for lottery to buy those tickets at the counter.

Where do you do your ticket shopping?
There is a little market in our town I get my tickets at typically from one of those vending machine style. I usually go in for a sandwich or drink and if I have a buck or two left in my pocket, I'll grab a ticket on my way out. Sometimes I fill out a slip, sometimes I'll get a QP.. and when I am feeling wild, maybe both I get my scratch-its there, too. Although, those itchy scratchies have been a lot more successful than my PB, MM and Oregons Megabucks haha

PA Raffle Countdown
I don't know about PA, but in NY, they shut down all lottery terminals shortly before draw time. Once the drawing is held, they turn them back on. Any tickets purchased after they're turned back on are for the next scheduled drawing. Because a vending machine selling tickets for online games is a lottery terminal too, I would think they'd be shut down as well. G5
