Do some number combinations have better odds?
The argument will always be you can't change the odds even though our odds are based on set conditions. It's a fact 2.56% of all the groups of 28 will match all five numbers in every drawing and you're simply betting you selected one of them. It's also a fact 2.50% of all QPs will win a prize so the odds against a group of 28 numbers matching five numbers are slightly better than better than those overall odds of a like number of QPs winning any prize..
Using Roulette as an example, I tried t

Take5 NY
I dont think it makes you greedy Kap.
The thing about members not sharing numbers here is fine, but IMHO, I dont think it makes much difference if someone does or doesnt post their numbers. I think people are afraid of the Boogey Man
Mink pointed out nobody that posts here played Cajun's winning set of 5. There was one winner that day, and it was a QP. Most T5 jackpots are won by QP's. That's because more QP's are sold than player picks. (It's 3 to 1 in favor of QP's) QP's are the thing t

$540 MILLION: Mega Millions buying frenzy sparks another jackpot increase
Thank you, I wish it were enough to share with everyone.... maybe a little conversion to a bigger game might be in order lol!
[edit]
Yea the kewl thing about the promo, is you can win multiple times in the same drawing, I can hardly imagine how many times someone enters to win 4-5 times each month.... alot of work.
[edit, the edit] - lol!
I just noticed, another person that has enetered the second chance drawings for the last 7 of 8 months, she has won a total of 27 wins, amo

$540 MILLION: Mega Millions buying frenzy sparks another jackpot increase
By Todd Northrop
The United States perhaps the world has never witnessed a lottery-buying frenzy like we are seeing this week.
Mega Millions tickets are being bought at such a rapid pace that the state lotteries in the Mega Millions consortium have raised the jackpot estimate for the second time in as many days.
Early Wednesday morning, just after 1:00 am Eastern Time, USA Mega announced the new record Mega Millions jackpot of $476 million after nobody won in the Tuesday evening drawing

Strategies for keno on smartluck
Hi, there..
Keno is my most fav lottery game to play and I do better with it than my friends who play the 3 and 4 digit though I have had beginners luck with that too...LOL For some reason I just don't do good on Club Keno in the bars and restaurants?
I play the daily MI Keno quite regularly and haven't done too bad (got lucky and won $2500 in July 2010). Since then I win a little.. lose a little. Still working on the big win!
I used SmartLuck Software. I find the Keno the numbers come

Lottery Games Are Nothing But A Big Pool Of Players.Play Less Often For Less Lines To Win Big.
NEW YORK LOTTERY's explanation to the lack of sweet million winners.
It is still true that for $1, the Lottery's new Sweet Million game offers the best odds of winning $1,000,000. The odds of 1: 3,838,380 to win the jackpot of $1,000,000 cash is over 3 times better than the average $5 scratch off game, 6 times better than the odds to win the Lotto jackpot and over 45 times better than your odds to win the Mega Millions jackpot. However it's always about the sales. Currently, we have sales of

How much Power do we have here
Games like Kentucky Cash Ball with fixed payoffs could easily sell 10 cent tickets with a minimum $1 bet. For a $1 you get 10 chances to win $20,000 compared to 1 chance to $200,000. It would be more difficult with jackpot games like PB and MM. It might be interesting when 10% of the jackpot was won and the other 90% is applied to the next drawing.
Actually I wish I was in charge of a Lottery Commision lol. I got some ideas.
The problem with presenting new types of games and bets are the

Do YOU know any lottery winners personally?
Yeah, I do. Actually, I know two people that won a lottery jackpot, but their stories arent as good as you might think. Their stories arent bad stories, but neither person is wealthy beyond their wildest dreams.
The first guy was a former co-worker. As best I can recall, he netted $72,000 playing NY's Take5. The win came at a perfect time for him. He had made an offer on a house, and it had been accepted. The closing had yet to happen when he won, so after he won, he called the bank and said

2nd chance drawings...
Ditto, Yes, something strange is occuring with whatever algorithm in use to pull out the winning ticket numbers. A couple of guys that won 2x each in Drawing 1 for the Magic both won yet again.... 2x each in Drawing 3
Now I dont care that much about a few trinkets and I'd rather have any ticket cash prize but I do like the Magic and entered my non-winning tickets hoping even for the lowest prize.... a shirt.
What in the world does that one person who won 5x want to do with 10 shirts and 5

2nd chance drawings...
I haven't seen an overall 2nd chance in FL yet, but I've only been playing for a couple months. I have seen where certain tickets are offering a 2nd chance that is related to that ticket.
For example, the NBA Orlando Magic $5ticket I have starated to play has 2nd chance. Prizes are Orlando Magic tickets, Fan merchandise etc.
NFL did it too, I played NFL Dolphins tickets but didn't win anything. I wasn't going to play NBA but I do like the Magic and want to get game tickets/merchandise, I
