There was an article not showing on here yet about a $2 scratch-off in Indiana that won a $5 prize. The winner missed the deadline because the game ended without their knowledge. They sued. The cost to the Hoosier Lottery is hundreds of thousands and the $5 winner is now ending up with $15K! As long as money is available to pay the prize, there should be at least 5 years or more. There is no rule engraved in stone that says you can not win more than once, so be open to the possibility. Also when you start winning smaller amounts it is most of the time indicative that you're warming up on a winning streak so greet those small wins with joy and delight so more can be on the way and not stopped by a negative attitude of disappointment. I think it's all luck too, but who's to say? The only reason I chose luck is that so many people who never played before win the lottery, and many of them buy quickpicks. If you're talking about the pick 3 or 4 games, maybe a little skill is involved using a lottery system. I'd even stretch that to include Fantasy 5, although most tickets that win are QPs. Hi JustXploring, Yes, it definitely seems somewhat amazing to think one can will a number to hit. But then and again, the man in the article has had an above average success rate. I think he won every possible combo for CA lotto (ie 3/6, 4/6 5/6 6/6) as well as other smaller prizes. In my life I have found that belief can make a big difference.
