I would like to see this jackpot run go into the $300 million range at least. Maybe roll into november past halloween's drawing because big jackpots are fun to play for especially if I win a prize.-weshar75

The jackpots do grow very slow, but on average about the same as in the past. There were many MM changes in just the last 3 years like new states added, matrix changes, PB competition, etc. so the only real expectations is the average sales on at certain levels regardless of how many drawing it takes to get there.

Well I guess I am wrong. No conspiracy theory from me. It just seems like the Jackpots are growing slower to me. One day I will get lucky and hit one...I hope before I am 80 and can't enjoy it as much

When someone asked if Mega Millions sales are really bad and then gives false information, I decided to check the numbers. I agree with you that how much is bet on jackpots especially under $300 million is useless information, but apparently that's all they have to talk about.

Slowly creeping up. Back in the day, it would only stop twice in the 2xx range, now it takes at least 3. Low interests rates have as much to do with it as people are not impressed by these jackpots.

Yeah I got two of those Instant Jackpots with my winnings, both in the low 20 numbers, and both losers. They are definitely making dead spots in the low 20s on Instant Jackpot - I have had enough lately to know.

There have been over 270 2nd place prizes for powerball so far this year. Which means over 270 millionaires have won. So there have been way more winners than just the jackpots that have been won. I'm sure the same goes for mega. But I guess spending 5 dollars to have more millionaire winners sounds like a dream come true to some....lol

California has gotten MORE then their fair share in return, by winning large jackpots consistently. Try and be humble next time, and not so greedy. Are other states that people are in not entitled to their fair share then, since california is so special?

I have baught tons of the gold rush and $10 jackpots and not one winner talking $300 worth of tickets and not one winner not even s free ticket I'm done for long time maybe next month. You would think they make enough money to put a free ticket in thereafter 4 $20 tics in a row.
