$320 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot goes through the roof
I think it could replace power play and they could sell 100 times more pool play Instead of having to pay out all that extra money on each draw, they just divide up the advertised jackpot amount. (when needed)

wow did this kid screw up
Our Pool host tried to use the machine for $50 of PB. He ended up buying one line for 25 draws. It was funny and worth the $2 watching him turn red when he told us.

wow did this kid screw up
Whoa! I really hope the screw up turns out to be a blessing in disguise because I know the pool members are mad as hell. Obviously they are quickpicks. I hope for his own sake that NON of the MM quick picks he bought matches the PB numbers drawn tonite in enough combinations to win a serious prize.

powerball increasing again!! so you know what that mean
People like boney and Jammy are not here because they play the lottery, and I think it needs to be over $500 million before they will even consider joining a pool that shares the cost of one line.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
The 1 in 39.9 overall chances includes matching three, four, and five so the 45 to 1 playing just one bonus number is probably the same overall. I played in a lotto pool for a couple of years and several times we had more than 150 QPs. We matched 5 out of 6 twice but that only averaged out to $100 per player. The critics can argue we can't get better odds by using any strategy, but based on the QPs I saw, we can't do worse.

$260 MILLION: Powerball lottery jackpot surges
I have a wee bit of Irish myself, may the best 5+1 win. Any chance of adding your numbers to the LP pool?

Lottery Pool, should I do quick pick?
OH! No I meant with coworkers. I've typed up an agreement we all have to sign. It covers stuff I have searched on the internet with lawsuits to tax information. I also have a one time pool agreement for the times like now when PB is high and we decide to play with other people.

Lottery Pool, should I do quick pick?
I am in a work pool and we play the same set of numbers and usually with advanced play. Its easy because I don't have to check the numbers since I know them. And I still play on my own just to get some side action going on.

Lottery Pool, should I do quick pick?
I use quick picks when forming a pool ONLY because if I don't have to worry about any finger pointing going on if I was responsible for selecting non winning numbers. With that being said, if everyone pitched in and selected the numbers and not just one person, that would be different.
