In my view, an on-line ticket purchase / subscription is far safer than the traditional paper ticket. Many of which are thin paper printed on with heat sensitive ink. While paper chars at a few hundred degrees, it's possible the numbers could be unreadable. So even if one protects their tickets in a fire resistant safe, the tickets may still be seriously damaged due to the high heat adversely affecting the paper and ink. I do not understand big winners who buy a new house with a loan, then can't make the payments after they squander millions of dollars and end up foreclosed on with nowhere to live.
