Yep- its bad enough that in some States they tax the lottery wins, now they want a bigger piece of the pie. That unclaimed money should be put back into the pool, its not free money . Someone won that money and just because someone does not come forward claim it does not mean they have imminent domain over unclaimed winnings....

screw that texas ship , let tourist who go to it, pay for it if they WANT it to stay that bad. i always want money to be given to us players, in next game, add it to prize pool and i sure think a unclaimed pb/mm jackpot when it goes unclaimed should be put into next full drawing maybe next one that has 4 days of ticket sales, aka sundday to wed, for boost to sales or they add it to next jackpot to reach 200/300 mark, so for sales, it be like pouring gas into a full fire for BO

I agree with all on here....any unclaimed prizes should go back into the lottery pool to be given away. These money grubber politicians just need to forget thier idea and keep their money grubbing hands off of it. It belongs to the players.

The people who looked at the 11 million dollar house...they didnt buy it but another angle to look at is what's the upkeep on something like that...the light bill, pool maintenance, HOA fees, housekeeping....etc...etc....you can become a slave to a house very quick if you don't factor in certain expenses

I wish I had them on the same ticket but atleast I won $4 back out of the $6 I gave them. I usually decide to play mega with my lottery pool collections but since power ball is up there I've been playing a little of both.

Improving your skills at picking a smaller number pool with all the winning numbers is one way to have more winning numbers on the same line when wheeling but that is even harder so I've been working on an easier alternative.

The problem is some of the people joining the pool are thinking by playing infrequently they have as good of a chance of collecting part of a big prize as those playing regularly. Many pools will cave in and share rather than waiting a year or two to collect their money and wasting much of it on court cases.
