Are you sick of system that sound like mumbo jumbo to keep you from find out how they make money
I believe it too, that guy just got lucky winning a big jackpot like this. Besides, most of the people winning those big jackpots have no systems at all....pure luck !...hey someone got to win.

Will we ever see a double win?
I have no idea. Not likely to happen but it could happen. The odds are probably close to winning back to back jackpots.

Will we ever see a double win?
If we all had enough time, we would all win at least one of the jackpots and possibly several. Each games has only 104 drawings a year and even with 208 combined drawings, plan on playing 81,730 years just to have a 10% chance. What are the odds against the same five numbers and the same bonus number drawn back to back?

Why not choose the annuity?
That really bugs me! Being that majority chooses cash on winning jackpots, I would much rather them advertise the Cash Value rather than the Annuity value. If on an 100 million jackpot all I am going to get before taxes is 57 million, I would much rather know that when purchasing the ticket. I would like to be able to expect the amount I am buying a ticket for.

Would you quit your job if you won the lottery?
Especially if it is one of the larger Powerball or Megaball Jackpots. After coming back down to Earth-calming down-would maybe give notice.

Missouri Gov. orders review of Lottery operations
It is taking Mega Millions and Powerball a long time to reach $100 Million annuity. It is the point where players start to play more often. MM and PB starting jackpots are too low. We need a national lottery game with a $100 Million starting jackpot.

Does anyone miss Jackpot fever?
I like both big and small jackpots because you need a little one before they reach out this world levels. Plus with my lotto budget being around $100 for each month I like to play a couple a dollars on every jackpot not a lot on a big jackpot. Some players like to wait for the big ones and then spend big on them but I like the spend a little on each one and see if I can get a decent prize level that way. You never know when lady luck is going to give your ticket the winning numbers.-weshar75

Does anyone miss Jackpot fever?
400 people?!!! I don't mind spliting 400 million with two, three or even four people but no way 400 people on a 400 million jackpot. Remember if you take the cash option and pay all the taxes, you'll be lucky to bring home under $500,000. I do like it better when two hit the mega jackpots rather then one. Of course if I was the only winner, I wouldn't lose much sleep over it.

Does anyone miss Jackpot fever?
Absolutely not. I wish the jackpots were split up more...like 400 people winning a mil each opposed to one person winning the whole enchilada. What one person needs 400 million dollars?
