Are you more comfortable playing the lotto as an individual or joining a pool?
I'm in a pool that plays PB. Myself and some 2 people at work have decided each will contribute $2 a week. So we will be playing one line each game, same numbers and with powerplay each time. I will buy the tickets and someone else will hold the ticket. This is good so that I'm able to focus on MM by myself even when I am trying PB.

The Power of Substitution
It's usually 'too much work' because you get laggards that you have to chase down to play, and then they decide to skip a game, or two, or three, and that throws off your working chart of games to pick.
On top of that, *IF* you win you will be sued by these laggards, guaranteed.
I would rather just know I have a static number of games to play every drawing, be it 2, or 5, or 8, more than that is a waste.
You learn quick who is ALWAYS in, and even if it is just 3-4 people, just do it wit

The Power of Substitution
Oph! I once picked 500 lines for me and nine other co-workers to play but that was a one time deal and I didn't consider that to be like running a pool since I never did it again.

Problematic positions
I am not a programmer , but I understantand permutations. You try incremental approach bearing in mind nCr and nPr relation.
Now with 3 digits the permuation is straight forward 3P2 for 6 combos, increase to 4P2 for 12 combos 5P2 for 20 , 6P2 for 30 ...........P(n,r). I want you to consider this logic and modify certain parameters in your data: Supposing you can generate 2 digits out of 3 always (you must have a trigger /code to locate that), then your missing digits becomes optional, someone

Fallacies, and two REAL ways of improving your chances
I have tried both QP's and playing self picks when buying tics for the work pool. There are 11 of us so I buy 11 tics each draw when we play MM or Texas Lotto. When I have bought 11 QP's I never had all 5 or 6 winning numbers among the 11 lines. So, obviously, no chance at a jackpot. When I play all the numbers, at least I know I have all the winning numbers in play.

Do some number combinations have better odds?
Everyone knows that successfully eliminating 20 numbers from the PB pool gives a player BETTER ODDS of hitting a jackpot and a player only needs to win once to be set for life, mediabrat just wont admit it.

Part of a Pool?
We do a family lottery pool every once in awhile, the most we won was a couple hundred dollars, we usually all chip in 20 each, there's 12 of us, we get half qp's and half hand picked numbers.

Pari-mutuel Pick 3
I assume most states have a back up plan for pari-mutuel payouts if too many winning Pick 3 tickets are sold. Do most states publish the maximum pay out amount for each draw after which the prize pool is divvied up and each ticket wins less than the usual payout? I can't find that amount for Idaho.
