Wow, you missed the entire story! Start with page 1. The lottery released the story of the brothers collecting the win after the 6 years in the hopes the real winner would come forward. They have not stated how exactly they know his story is true but they have documents and witnesses to prove his story, no mention of security footage. Just look up the story and you'll see the guy knew they somehow ripped him off and it's been eating away at him for years.
