Colorado bill would ban credit card lottery ticket purchases and online sales
I believe they should continue online sales, but bank ach or debit card, not credit cards. That way, disabled or home bound can purchase if they want. I don't get the statement about about lottery losing money. There always trying to create new games to get ppl to play/buy (aka get addicted imo). If they lost money, what would they lose out on? Schools supposed to get part of it but I was told if examples a school budget is $30000 for the year and lottery spending give them $20000, that 20g is no

2026 lottery headlines you hope to see
We would be 1000% better off. The corruption and grifting, the stupid ballroom, the Gestapo (ICE) who murders citizens on camera and escapes all accountability, the stupid tariffs, the many violations of court orders, the damaged relationships with our allies, the pardons of fraudsters and drug dealers and 1/6/21 rioters, it is off the scale, hurtling us towards banana republic status. Unlike the 45th President, the 47th President has surrounded himself with nothing but lawless yes-men, bootlick

Who are you going to tell after you win the monday's powerball jackpot.
I would definitely choose another attorney. This is first year law school info he should know. Of course he recommends a blind trust...so he can control your investments and you have no input. I know some winners may want this but it is potentially dangerous with very unsophisticated winners. It is time consuming and court approval can sometimes be needed to undue both blind trusts and irrevocable trusts.
Your first goal is to allow your attorney to claim the money on your behalf with a revo

You Can't Lose If You Don't Play
you admitted that you haven't won anything in the lottery in two years (in michigan where you supposedly live) but you also labor under the delusion that you can profitably predict pick 3 in california. in that case, why don't you pack up and move to the golden state? the l.a. times did an article about a homeless encampment in los angeles that is so big it even has a pickleball court. and seeing as how stats donated all of his money to the georgia lottery, maybe he can move with you. get yourse

Texas Lottery Commission abolished, oversight of Texas Lottery transferred
Yes. It says order or arrange. Very broad language.
If you had a huge win with your facts, you could argue it was an informal social favor between friends and hope a court narrows and interprets the law as being overbroad. 50/50 odds at best.
It is a big jump in logic for the Texas lottery needing and wanting to ban couriers and then further extending it to a daughter buying her invalid aunt a lottery ticket.

EXCLUSIVE: Weeks-long computerized draw error prevented many DC Lottery tickets from winning a prize
The DC government is well known for being very incompetent across the board and that is one of the reasons it cannot get statehood. A one traffic light town is more competent.
A guy in my office was on DC unemployment comp for a month or two before he worked for my employer and got a threatening letter stating that he owed them $40 k. Lol. He tried a million ways to tell them that he received a few thousand in benefits but every rep there did not care. He had to bring in an attorney to meet
