I do not know how many people are in the pool. The pool is split up into shares where people can own multiple shares. I only have one share. Winning $1 million is good enough for me. We are only playing 20 tickets per draw. This allows the pool to last a relatively long time. I joined the pool last year and it is still going. I paid $20 to join. The pool buys tickets when the Powerball or Mega Millions is very large. The pool ends when it runs out of money.

I have been using this app for a while and so far so good. We should start a private pool on that app for texas lotto but i don't think they allow state games pools yet.

I use 2-3 method to create a pool of numbers in the Pick 5 (Quito) games. From that pool of numbers, I select my numbers to play using due sums, repeat sums from MID that might return in the evening, or numbers near the hit sum or date sum. I will look to see what numbers were drawn in previous weeks of the prior year (s). For those who Play 5 (Quinto), what methods or systems do you use to select numbers to play?

Here is the math formula to calculate how many combinations a set of numbers creates from a given pool of numbers. Example 6/49. 49x48x47x46x45x44 divided by 1x2x3x4x5x6 ( 10,068,347,520 / 720 ) = 13,983,816 six number combinations without repeat of numbers in each combination. The Powerball jackpot was won in the April 29 draw with two winning tickets. There was only a 3.5% estimated chance the jackpot would be won.
