Special projects shrink lottery proceeds
Almost $1.8 billion worth of Georgia lottery proceeds that could have gone for HOPE scholarships has instead been spent on a long list of other projects, including museums, security fences and metal detectors, and renovations of historic buildings. And millions are still being spent for special scholarship programs that benefit a few private colleges favored by powerful lawmakers. Now, with HOPE facing a shortfall and a state commission looking for ways to rein in expenses, some officials wonder w

If you are Illegal and play lottery shouldn't they learn the rules on collection
They aren't capable of doing that, if they could they would be able to collect A LOT MORE TAXES and make the post office profitable. The Social Security Admin for eg. still................is running on late 70's technology and software they are incapable of migrating it to yesterdays technology. Airport control towers run on early 80's technology because of the bureacracies. It goes on and on. The govt. $UX$ big time at that kind of stuff. That is why companies like Google are under such scrutin

By Kate Northrop
As the U.K. National Lottery gets ready to undergo its most massive technology upgrade in three decades, ticket sales, ticket checkers, and prize claims will all experience a 36-hour blackout.

Massachusetts official warns lottery could become "irrelevant"
I agree. US State Lotteries really need to embrace technology, or they will get left behind. The UK is a perfect example, of how to use technology to adapt to today's society. The British National Lottery has 9 million online subscribers. It raises billions of pounds for community projects across the UK. Every State Governor, should have a look at the UK National Lottery, which is the most successful lottery in the world.

New page identifies problems with your web browser
They must have changed the technology since the last time I looked at it (admittedly several years ago). It used to be that you would receve via the dish and transmit via the phone. I do know that the regular satellite that delivers TV does not itself receive signals, so maybe there is some kind of add-on technology that sends the signal elsewhere.

Lottery can not be beaten!!
Dream,You need to rethink your words about the odds of the lottery. I personally have a system with 4 #' that come out at a pretty good rate. I know of a bunch of system that work. When the lottery people say the lottery can't be beat there saying that so no one will know that it is possable. The states would not try the hardest to make the draws random if it was not possable.I mean why bother rotating balls and doing all that they do if they know there is no way to beat the randomness to it.Peo

NEW FEATURE: Lottery Wheels Section
This new feature represents some of the most substantial features I have added to Lottery Post in the past year.I have tried to figure out how many hours I have put into this new Wheels section, and my best guess is approximately 280 hours. I have been working on this for a long time. The section is not complete, but has a complete framework for adding new wheel features in the future. There is full support for three wheel types:Full WheelsKey WheelsAbbreviated WheelsIn addition, I have created
