Error Correction
On second thought one could look at the forecasting function and figure the variances of error from the start and use that in the standard deviations to correct that function accordingly after each drawings thus the forecasting function would become more accurate after each drawing. Players who track hot and cold numbers are doing something similar now, but don't use the variances of error to more accurately define their parameters. I hope this helps. If we all put our thoughts together, we w

Error Correction
First one would have to establish the effect that historical jackpot values have on guessing the size of the wheel to use and then adjust the variances in the standard deviation to create an error correction routine accordingly. This all assumes that the forecasting function started out being correct and got worst over time or there would be no guide line for the error correction routine.RJOh

Tennessee cash 4 -- 4/22/2005
Hey All,There is no error in the system any more. An error was discovered the first day, and it was fixed immediately. There were 4 or 5 wins reported incorrectly, but those are no longer there. No need to be concerned, the predictions system is checking predictions flawlessly at this point! (At little overboard, but you get the point.)

The Pigskin Challenge for Saturday 01-22-
AyeIf you're after improving prediction skills... we need to discuss the methods rather than look at just results. Whether it be an open discussion on methods, tools, formulas, or whatever... accuracy can come a bit later...but good luck getting people to open up about the systems in use for a jackpot game... for the obvious reasons...but for the heck of it (and one more attempt to get some open PB discussion going) here's my current system....1 excel workbook with 4 sheets...Sheet 1 is a Long T

Last week, Mike Kainrath opened his mail and found a notice from his bank: We credit your account $1,789,830.61.Some people might start jotting a wish list: pay off mortgage, start (and finish) taking care of the childrens college, buy a new car.Kainrath had only one thought: Oh, no!Not again.Kainrath, a Suffolk resident and marketing research manager at The Virginian-Pilot , got a similar notice two Novembers ago when his checking account was credited with $2,700. In April 2003 , it happened a

and how would error evolution contribute to the accurate prediction?I posted some predictions for some bigger jackpot lotteries.Yes,I break odds sometimes while odds beats me badly sometimes too.Its just not a steady predicting system yet.Anyway,There could be a way to check it out where we went wrong when we didnt break the odds and fail ,right? Is it what error evolution is for?
