One negative about joining a pool is not feeling mentally easy about purchasing any tickets on your own. The news story about the hair dressers is a reference. When I have a pool, I make sure all the ladies have copies of the tickets purchased beforehand. Our xerox normally copies about 4 tickets per page and I have them sign each page before making copies. Giving everybody copies of the ticktets could make it more difficult for her to rip off the rest of the pool if one of the pool tickets wins. It does nothing to keep the rest of the pool from attemting to steal most of the prize if the winning ticket is hers.
