Likelihood of a MM Winner this drawing?
Very true! I haven't bought an Illinois Lottery ticket in a couple of years, but it is creeping up there. $17M, last I checked. That'd be about $9M after taxes and after the Lord gets His cut. I'm not sure if that $17M is an annuity or cash, though. Even so, $5M would retire me just fine!

$548 MILLION: Mega jackpot to spark ticket-buying frenzy
Honestly M....WHAT-TA-HECK,would ANYONE in our age range, who is not used to that kind of wealth, reasonably do with more than $75 Million ?.. Guess a plane and super yacht... IMHO those kind of finances should to be shared with people who are in need or who could retire with a $3-5 Million nest egg and help people they know... just a lottery theory, subject to change

Sure if you win a big jp you'll have millions, but still, taxes, weather, natural disasters , etc.....
Of course every place has something not so hot but you don

4073-1974. I think I will switch to lucky for life next week. That's the kind of money I need to fully retire.

Maryland postal worker wins $10 million scratch-off lottery jackpot
l don't, and neither do you. To somehow suggest that he ought to retire from his job is cavalier of you. You used the word Ought - which signifies OBLIGATION...seriously? Which he is Not! l was simply covering all the bases, Why? Because long lost family friends have the tendency to show up when money suddenly appears.
